Assembler II - (O2)
Key Responsibilities
Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, parts, written and/or verbal instructions to construct mechanical, and pneumatic PFA tubing assemblies and components.
Utilizes standard hand tools and fixtures connecting components or assemblies. Cuts to specific sizes.
Maintains cleanliness of work area and ensures proper handling of tools, equipment and stock to prevent loss or injury. Details finished work by removing fingerprints, etc. and then properly packages to prevent damage in transportation or storage.
Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training, and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety department. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.
Performs other duties and/or completes training as required by Supervisor.

Under direction from management, prevents accumulation of excess material. Moves stock as required. In a manufacturing environment, may replenish empty line-side bins and/or regulate material movement to the manufacturing floor.
Reviews M.R.P. for upcoming work order, project status, and W.I.P. Expedites receipt of materials from vendors/suppliers.
Trains / certifies other Material Coordinators as required. Follows documented business processes. Under direction from supervisor, purges stock of excess and obsolete material. Takes action necessary to rework, transfer, or scrap these items.
Operates powered industrial vehicles as assigned; may operate pallet jack, electric pallet jack and/or forklift. May drive a van or truck if necessary, or operate overhead crane. Adheres to all safety standards and protocols; participates in addressing safety concerns.
Other Requirements: This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, the use of hand and power tools, and driving or operating heavy machinery including forklifts.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll work in our state-of-the-art facility and at customer sites around the globe, where you are the face of Applied Materials and an integral part of a vibrant and diverse team.
We train our Field Service Engineers to create and support the technology that the world relies on to manufacture semiconductor chips and related materials, every day. You'll work beside global customers to install, maintain and upgrade their Applied Materials equipment, delivering world-class support for multimillion-dollar production systems.

Role Responsibilities:

This internship will be in a cleanroom environment and will provide you with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly and modular test.There is the possibility of converting to a full-time employee upon graduation from the degree program.
Role Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of routine electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair. Adjust, align and/or perform "Go / No-Go" tests using test fixtures or non-diagnostic electronic testing devices. Identify and correct errors. Retest.

Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products, within safety guidelines
