ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A WINDSHEAR TEST CELL OPERATOR:

Job responsibilities will be progressive, and assigned based on individual skills. Specific skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance, instrumentation, calibration, computers and networks, automotive mechanics and racing industry knowledge.

Technician will be cross-functional and expected to support all functions of the operation, including:

• Test cell operation

• Verification of vehicle instrumentation quality

4.0 Access and General Protection/Security Policy and Procedures:

The Contractor will comply with applicable installation, facility and area commander installation/facility access and local security policies and procedures (provided by Government representative. In addition to the changes otherwise authorized by the changes clause of this contract, should the Force Protection Condition (FPCON) at any individual facility or installation change, the Government may require changes in Contractor security matters or processes.

4.1 Contractors entering the installation will be subject to on-the-spot instant identification card vetting and random-access measure inspections by the Ft Huachuca security staff. All individuals must be able to complete this requirement to be able to enter the installation.

5.0 Position Qualification/Experience Criteria

5.1 Must have held the rank of (at a minimum) MAJ or SGM.

5.2 A graduate of MCOE or FCOE PME (Captains Career Course or Advanced Leadership Course (ALC)). Note: Preference is one MCOE and one FCOE .

A GIS technician will collect and input data into the geographic information system from a variant of different sources. A GIS technician performs data collection of utility assets in the field utilizing manual mapping methods, mobile data terminals, build work requests designs, construction drawings and digital and hardcopy information received from governmental agencies or any other digital or manual source as required. Provides field, range, testing, chemical, and biological laboratory support to the U.S. Army at the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) located at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), UT. As a major test site for the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, the WDTC is responsible for the test and evaluation of chemical and biological (CB) defense systems, incendiary and smoke/obscuration munitions systems, and related operational concepts.
