Job Description

Amentum is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our team in supporting the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) in their mission to develop, deliver, and maintain advanced integrated warfare systems and technologies that provide naval warfighters with decisive advantages. The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the PEO IWS mission by providing support in the areas of program planning, execution, and control.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $70,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of program plans and schedules, including budget and resource allocation, risk management, and performance measurement.

  • Collect, analyze, and report program performance data, including financial, technical, and schedule information.

  • Support program reviews and briefings by preparing materials and presentations, documenting action items, and tracking progress.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support program objectives and ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline, Physics, Mathematics or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management or operations analysis.

  • In Lieu of degree, High School diploma and 11 years of professional experience in operations

  • Knowledge of program management principles and practices, including scheduling, risk management, and performance measurement.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources and develop insights and recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with U.S Navy or DoD Acquisition programs and processes

  • Experience working in a government contracting environment, particularly in the defense industry

Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced Human Resource Specialist that will support the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) with the provisioning of HR expertise, guidance and support to program staff, leadership and management. The successful candidate will provide support on all areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to PEO IWS in line with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for program staff and leadership.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for assigned positions, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.

  • Design, develop, test and maintain web-based tools and applications in support of PEO IWS.

Responsible for the training, coaching and feedback of supply technicians in ERP systems, customer service, inventory management, vessel operations, and other supply functions as assigned by Supply management. Investigates operational errors to determine the cause and recommends corrective action where needed.
