AWS Industry Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling industry-specific positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. As a senior product marketing manager for the M&E industry, you will have the opportunity to define and drive the marketing and positioning strategy for solutions and services that help media companies, studios, and sports organizations accelerate cloud transformation. You will work with product and engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You will create compelling content to help customers understand service use cases and value propositions, and build the right marketing programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption. You will get to work on a new and rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day.
The ideal candidate has a passion for technology services and how they can be used to create business outcomes in the media and entertainment vertical, the ability to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand messaging and materials, and experience building and improving scalable mechanisms to deliver results. A proven track record of excelling in a data-driven product marketing organization is essential, M&E industry subject-matter expertise desired but not required.
This role can be based in Seattle (WA), Santa Clara (CA), Arlington (VA), or Boston (MA). Relocation to Seattle only from within the US.
Key job responsibilities
Craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (e.g. presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos) that land our M&E value proposition
Engage with customers and partners to drive advocacy
Own content strategy and execution for key communication channels including website, blog, social, on-network promotion, and emails
Plan and execute marketing initiatives at industry events to showcase M&E messaging, content, keynotes, and breakout sessions
Collaborate with AWS field support teams to maintain internal sales hubs with the latest industry resources, value propositions, and sales enablement content
Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, and events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives.

You will have the chance to accelerate and deliver on the customer's technical strategy as a Partner Solution Architect for SI and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) within AWS by utilizing solution design best practices, cloud native use cases, and the wide range of AWS solutions provided by the partner community.

You will have deep technical expertise in software architecture and cloud computing, as well as customer-facing skills at all levels of a partner and customer organization. Drive opportunities for improvement of Cost to Service across the organization (Shopping/eCF).
Partner with Fleet Finance Leads to improve, standardize, and automate the metrics, dashboards, and reporting in line with strategic initiatives driven by the Central IMR team (Tech ROI framework, Service level IMR, Weblab, Attribution models, etc.).
Influence business decisions with executive leaders through financial modeling, metrics, and reporting.
Collaborate with central finance teams (e.g., FP&A, Corporate Controller) to align on financial policies, processes, and reporting standards, ensuring consistency across the organization.
Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making, such as evaluating new initiatives, investments, or organizational changes.
Provide financial training and guidance to business partners and stakeholders, fostering financial literacy and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, performance indicators, and variances, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects related to financial systems, data management, and analytics to drive continuous improvement.

We seek a Finance Manager with strong quantitative and financial skills, sound business judgment, the ability to solve complex problems, and effective verbal and written communication. The successful candidate will work across teams within tight deadlines, project manage the financial cycles, and consolidate financial commentaries to provide insights and tell the business story. The Finance Manager will think and act quickly under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of finance experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
