The Opportunity:

CACI is currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer (Infrastructure) to join our team developing next generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. As a member of the CACI Spectral Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation's safety, security, and prosperity. Our warfighters are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security from the increasingly sophisticated and complex threats of our adversaries.

As someone who thinks outside the box, you'll enjoy creating/ implementing solutions to interesting engineering problems. Using DevSecOps methodologies, you'll identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies. Rather than performing repetitive manual tasks you'll find ways to make automation do the heavy lifting. You will code software using industry standard tools, testing frameworks, CI infrastructure, automated deployments, and design scalable maintenance practices. Your experience with Linux as a real time operating system, bash shell, and scripting in languages such as Python will be indispensable assets.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC)

  • Collaborate with engineering team to design and implement IaC approach to automate configuration of hardware and software systems.

  • Collaborate across multiple teams to integrate and deploy containerized services into Kubernetes.

  • Collaborate with developer and integration teams to ensure smooth deployments

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies

  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  • 3+ years of experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef

  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance

The Opportunity:

As the RMF SME, you'll assist in the identification and implementation of information assurance/cybersecurity requirements. The successful candidate must have experience with NIST RMF, threat analysis, vulnerability management, as well as accreditation and authorization processes and shepherding projects through to ATO approval. Our CACI cybersecurity teams use proven solutions to manage, monitor, and immediately respond to cyber threats. Capabilities include cyber assessments, event monitoring and incident response, and assist in the implementation of preventative measures to isolate and mitigate cyber threats

Responsibilities:

You will be r esponsible for assessing technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access.

Assist in the approach for delivering and maintaining security compliant systems in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Oversee security control implementation methodologies in the A&A process.

Fully support the Risk Management Framework process end-to-end, and own the book of artifacts to include thorough documentation.

Support development and assembly of A&A documentation such as System Security Plans, Security Assessment Plans, Contingency Plans, and Risk Assessment Plan.

Brief stakeholders on the strategic plans and implementation of the RMF and cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Review the program's cybersecurity processes and security control implementations.

Analyze vulnerability scan reports, assess security threats, and assist team members in developing and tracking remediation strategies.

Support with vulnerability management and provide updates on remediation activities.

Assist with contingency planning and incident response training and exercises.

Review DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts and work with engineers, administrators, and developers to remediate identified issues.

Communicate security regulations, policies, and requirements to ensure compliance.

Ensure teams comply with security and privacy awareness training requirements.

Qualifications:

Required:

10+ year of demonstrated experience in the application of NIST RMF guidance, DISA STIGs, Privacy Act, or DoD regulations, instructions, manuals, checklists and guides for cybersecurity.

Experience writing and reviewing RMF artifacts.

Understanding of information and networking security requirements for Federal government, Department of Defense, or intelligence community. Experience using SonarQube, JFrog XRAY, eMASS, ACAS, WebInspect, Nessus, Static Code Analysis, Burp Suite or similar tools.

Experience performing vulnerability management activities including analysis, preparing recommendations, or remediation.

Must be detailed-oriented, exercise sound judgment, able to review the work of others, and be able to detect errors or needed modifications.

Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills with ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

CACI is seeking a cleared Software Engineer to support an Army Program Office on Ft Belvoir, VA. Assist with all computer and software related aspects of assigned program. Assist in the development of software related test plans, test procedures, software requirement and interface specification, software design document, test scripts, computer related hardware and software specification requirements. Secret clearance required.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • May perform engineering and scientific work involving the design, development, and operation of man portable computer systems, including hardware and software and their integration with other systems and peripherals.

  • Translate military operational and mission requirements (ground, sea, air, and space) into practical computer hardware and software design performance requirements for dismounted operations.

  • Participate in post awards, program reviews, design reviews, and IPTs as the computer specialist on assigned programs.

  • Evaluate and conduct design efforts from a computational viewpoint to ensure integration of all required computer related products and adequacy of the analyses

  • Prepare and review software related test plans, test procedures, software requirement and interface specification, software design document, test scripts and test reports on technical adequacy on assigned programs, for both government and contractor testing, as well as related failure reports.

  • Review and evaluate system performance against computer related hardware and software specification requirements, monitors and assesses field performance, and assesses risk of meeting user and specification requirements.

  • Provide computer engineering development and coding support with knowledge of 3rd and 4th Generation languages such as C, C++, JAVA, and Python, to include working within MS365 Office Power Suite of tools.

  • Experience with Windows 10 and Android operating systems (Android 4.4 & 6.0), focused on the development and integration of dismounted Soldier related products for the mobile/handheld devices and support equipment.

  • Prepare and evaluate computer hardware and software security strategies for requested programs.

  • Experience in software quality monitoring and software testing of embedded software in dismounted Soldier weapon and mission command systems.

  • Understanding of the DoD standards guiding the development of computer hardware and software policy, requirements, integration, engineering, and testing.

  • Perform security, analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments of computer hardware and software.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • BS Computer Engineering, or BS Computer Science, or BS Software Engineering

  • 3 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Dataverse/Apps/BI software

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :

  • Prior experience supporting US Army Program, Project, or Product Office

Work Location: Ft Belvoir, VA (3 days per week, fully remote work not authorized)
