Job Summary:

Our team is focused on evolving the state of the art and bringing emerging automation & autonomy technology into the harsh production environments found on typical mining and construction jobsites. As a data analyst and software developer focusing on autonomous large mining trucks, you'll collaborate with team members to develop new autonomous truck models and features that provide critical value to our customers. What You Will Do:

• Utilizing Python, use data analysis techniques to inform the design of autonomy systems for large mining trucks

• Develop production quality C++ software including design, documentation, coding, product quality, and validation

• Support functional safety software design and validation process

• Collaborate with team members to execute on goals

Education requirement:

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an NPI (New Product Introduction) Accountant supporting the ePowertrain Components, Operations, and Supply Chain team within the Electrification and Energy Solutions (E+ES) division. Job Summary:

Caterpillar's Integrated Components and Solutions Division is currently seeking a Electronic Product Support Engineer to provide support of electronic components on Marine engines and control panels.

As Electronic Product Support Engineer, you will have a significant impact on overall product quality and customer experience for electronic Marine products. This role will support product validation, investigating, troubleshooting, and diagnosing application and technical problems with an emphasis on technical issue resolution, plus project management, internal and external relations, and managing multiple NPI\CPI programs.

What You Will Do:

• Provide technical issue leadership on electronic Marine products.

• Caterpillar electronic Marine hardware and software issue identification and resolution for dealers and customers.

• Implementation and utilization of standard support processes to respond, restore, and resolve issues.

• Advocate on behalf of the dealer and customer to resolve technical product issues with product development engineering.

• Take a lead role in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

• Report issues within the CPI (product defect) process to ensure proper resolution to ongoing issues.

• Act as the liaison between the Caterpillar implementation teams, product development teams, and other support team members ensuring appropriate corrective actions are performed and that industry standard change management and support processes are followed.

• Drive Voice of Dealer for service strategies during New Product Introduction. This would include fault code strategies, electronics service tools, serviceable level of parts, etc

Key Relationships:

• Product Support Manager: frequent discussions regarding priorities, directions, and assistance.

• Product Support Team: frequent interaction and discussions with Caterpillar Marine team.

• Engineering: frequent discussions regarding customer problems. Liaison to ensure problem diagnosis, information on patches/fixes and functionality issues are resolved.

• Customers and Dealers: communicate on a regular basis status and resolution of issues

What Skills You Will Have:

Analytical Thinking:

- Ability to analyze complex engineering issues and determine the best approach for dealer technicians to troubleshoot correctly.

- Knowledge of utilizing flow charts, Pareto charts, fish diagrams, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns.

Effective Communications:

- Ability to effectively communicate with technically and non-technically skilled customers and dealers. Experience leading technical discussions to explain to design teams how dealer technicians will utilize information.

Project Management:

The Machine Controls Test & Validation Senior Engineer for Earthmoving's Peoria Proving Ground performs controls validation of some of CAT's latest products and technology. You will work at the 2500+ acre (10km^2) site to validate new technologies and systems in real world applications. In this role you will ensure core machine controls and future technologies like zero-emissions, remote and autonomous operation are developed and validated to Caterpillar's high-quality standards. This role is great for those looking to get hands-on machine experience and gain machine application knowledge and experience with the latest technologies.

What You Will Do:

• Perform controls validation to achieve program targets

• Assist in development of validation plans to hit critical program dates and cost targets

Skills and Experience:

Job Summary:

Lead a global engineering team to manage the supply risk of semiconductors used in the manufacturing of electronic components.

What You Will Do:

- Identify industry risk trends and incorporate into supply resiliency strategies.

- Utilize multiple data platforms and technologies for gathering and analyzing business data.

- Within Power BI, perform supply chain data analytics and define key performance indicators for assessing the state of the supply chain.

- Document business requirements for a web applications and Power BI team to develop and implement processes for supply chain risk monitoring, communication, and analytics.

- Maintain accurate muti-tier mapping of electronic suppliers' semiconductors to components and CAT machine and engine products.

- Collaborate with diverse engineering technology teams to ensure bill-of-materials and forecast volumes are accurate. - Advise and review the design, test, and validation of alternate semiconductor devices.

- Represent the engineering team in supply resiliency initiatives that includes purchasing (RISM) and strategic procurement and planning (SPPD) teams.

- Operates and monitors vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) system for resin sealing application to electric motors and generators. Including the operation of process chambers with hydraulically operated door and locking ring Monitor electric curing ovens, vacuum, pumping systems, chiller/circulation pump systems and low speed agitators.

- Performs measure and mixture of chemical solution and apply to standardized parts. Operates electric ovens.

- Operates hoist and manipulators to move parts and materials. Operates multiple types of DC Torque tooling to tighten fasteners and couplings. Uses hand tools, power tools, packing, shipping materials and tools to facilitate job functions.

- Performs variety of inspection functions to check quality and accuracy of in-process parts

What You Will Do:

• This role will be pivotal in conducting ongoing data analysis across various channels, tactics, and campaigns, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our regional marketing performance. Role Definition

Ability to develop engaging and effective communications and relationships with internal and external partners.

• Creativity - Extensive level: monitors innovations in field and explores usefulness in own function. Maintains balance between innovation and pragmatism.

Top Candidates Will Have :

• Knowledge of Construction Industry

• Previous experience involving ongoing collaboration with dealers and/or customers

• Experience leading projects or initiatives in a multinational organization in B2B

• Additional languages a plus (French)

Travel and Location Considerations:

• The position will require occasional travel.

• Caterpillar applies a flexible workplace policy (60% office work).

• Domestic relocation will be offered to Peoria, IL only for those who qualify.
