ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, provides, and monitors individualized psychiatric and medical nursing care following established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Performs therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care for the preschool, school age or adolescent patient and his/her family.
Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care.
Communicates and collaborates effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
Performs other duties as assigned.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license.
CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
PALS required.
RN certification preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must have an Associates in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing with applicable experience, however a BSN is preferred. If hired with an ADN, the candidate must complete a BSN program within three years from their date of hire.
Minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient or emergency room setting required.
Experience in both pediatric medical and psychiatric settings preferred.
Pediatric experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust, or extremes in temperatures. GENERAL SUMMARY
The Manager of Analytics will be responsible and accountable for leading technical and analytical data analysis for Fortify Children's Health (-Fortify-), a pediatric clinically integrated network (CIN) co-founded by Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters and the University of Virginia Children's Hospital. The vision of Fortify is to improve the health of children in the Commonwealth of Virginia by providing access to the highest quality health care. They will work with the Fortify Management Team, Fortify Advisory Committees, and Fortify's Participants, Vendors and/or Payors. Reports to the Director of Clinical Informatics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilizes effectively and responsibly the use of Fortify's IT products, including HealtheIntent, HealtheAnalytics and additional population health management platforms as determined by Fortify. Acts as an escalation point for procedural, data entry, and data extrapolation questions.
Assists in troubleshooting system issues with the clinics/sites/payors. Leads analytics team in assessment and prioritization of projects, requirements gathering, project assignment, and staffing management.
Coordinates and oversees daily work activities for analytics team members. Provides leadership and guidance to support the daily operations.
Facilitates recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and competency of personnel for performance of job roles in coordination with Fortify Management team.
Engages actively with the Fortify clinical care team and Regional Medical Directors to direct the provision of necessary data for innovative clinical initiatives.
Trains Fortify team members in addition to network physicians and office support staff on how to utilize Tableau, Business Objects, and other business intelligence and reporting software. May generate, update, and distribute instructional materials.
Evaluates information and reports for purposes of identifying opportunities for clinical improvement at the network and individual physician levels.
Understands all FCH incentive and risk arrangements and organizes clinical/financial reporting systems to support effective, efficient care delivery and optimizes outcomes.
Uses statistical methods to assess educational needs among participating providers.
Responsible for organizing materials, research, and presentations to various FCH committees and members.
Monitors health status indicators for the local population of CIN patients.

Master's degree in Statistics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

Demonstrated ability in database development, programming, and data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to use statistical modeling to support decision making as a means to improve quality, impact costs or determine financial impact of a proposal.
Demonstrated ability in leading and managing teams.
Competent in data manipulation and analysis.
Strong knowledge of reporting, data analysis and information presentation.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Case Manager is responsible for coordinating the case management care plan to meet the individual/caregiver needs, promoting quality, cost effective outcomes. Work involves identifying and resolving barriers that may hinder effective patient care and patient progression to a safe discharge in a timely manner. Reports to department leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Educates and empowers individual/caregiver toward self-care and independence.
Collaboratively works to carry out the process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy options and services to meet the individual's and family's comprehensive health needs.
Assesses the patient's plan of care and develops, implements, monitors and documents the utilization of resources and progress of the patient through their care.
Facilitates options and services to meet the patient's health care needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
RN holding a current Virginia state license or valid Compact State license.
Case management certification a plus.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Three years acute pediatric experience required. Will consider a master's degree with two plus years of experience in lieu of three years acute pediatric experience.
Professional knowledge of area of responsibility in order to direct planning and implementation of individualized service plan for eligible children with special health care needs to include medical care, social, developmental, educational, vocational and financial aspects.
One to three years case management/ care coordination experience preferred.
Must be able to plan, manage and establish a professional working environment within areas of responsibility.
Must possess the ability to identify problems and implement solutions for operational and organizational issues.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with other professionals.
Competence in use of personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
Knowledge of utilization review processes necessary.

The Research Assistant participates as a member of the Mental Health Research Team and is responsible for supporting clinical research studies. Requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Reports to team leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in participant enrollment and screening.
Coordinates and organizes participant tracking.
Coordinates equipment and supplies.
Assists with onsite and remote study monitoring.
Prepares materials for participant data collection, visits, or assessments.
Assists with data collection and management.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
IRB (Institutional Review Board) certification in human subject's protection required, or must be completed within 30 days of hire.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Associate's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related ?eld required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
2 years of experience in research setting preferred.
Knowledge of procedures governing clinical research preferred.
Demonstrated organizational skills, strong computer abilities, ability to analyze and problem solve independently.
Working knowledge or ability to learn data and statistical programs including excel, REDCAP, and SPSS.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Postdoctoral Fellow works alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, case managers, child abuse pediatricians, and forensic interviewers to ensure children and families receive the appropriate care in the aftermath of child maltreatment. The fellow is supervised by Licensed Clinical Psychologists and will gain the necessary requirements for licensure in the State of Virginia.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts thorough intake assessments (Mental Health Assessments) to accurately diagnose and conceptualize clients' presenting problems in order to make well-informed treatment recommendations.
Carries a caseload of approximately 15 therapy (TF-CBT) clients per week. The fellow will be trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and is expected to develop appropriate treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, and documentation that reflects the unique needs of each individual, while maintaining treatment fidelity. Fellow will be trained and gain experience providing crisis and safety assessments. Training and experience in other modalities (e.g. Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) may be an option pending fellow experience and training schedule.
Completes approximately one psychological assessment each month. Psychological assessments are comprehensive and trauma-informed. The fellow will gather pertinent collateral information, collaborate with referral sources, administer appropriate testing materials, and integrate data into a thorough report with in-depth, actionable recommendations.
Actively participates in monthly agency meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and weekly individual and group clinical supervision. Fellows also participate in multidisciplinary didactics with medical residents and fellows at Eastern Virginia Medical School and CHKD.
Completes a postdoctoral project that is in line with the fellow's professional interests and needs of the agency. The project may be research related, pending available ongoing projects.
Assists with didactics and group supervision for psychology and social work students completing practicums at the agency.
Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, either Psy.D. or Ph.D., from an APA accredited program
Completion of an APA-accredited internship
Experience with providing therapy and assessment services to children and/or adolescents is required.
Some experience with providing therapy and assessment services to children and/or adolescents who have experienced trauma is preferred.
Increased Security Clearance Required for Job Roles in Medical Tower II: FBI fingerprinting, criminal background check, and Child Protective Services registry search.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the transport RN, provides a variety of specialized and routine clinical therapies to the neonatal and pediatric population, utilizing state of the art equipment. Reports to department management of Transport Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responds to interfacility transport requests utilizing mobile intensive care units and rotor and fixed wing aircraft.
Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care respective to the assigned patient population.
Collaborates with other transport team members to ensure the safety of all transport operations.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care: Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Virginia
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric and/or neonatal intensive care unit or previous transport experience.
Must have interpersonal skills to communicate detailed clinical observations and evaluations with referring facilities and other care givers during transport.
Must have analytical skills necessary to assess patient/family needs during transport, prioritize care based on assessments and develop solutions to problems concerning patient's mental or physical well-being.
Pediatric experience preferred.
CPR Training, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) designation required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.
Increased Security Clearance for job role required: FBI finger printing, criminal background, educational and personal reference check verification and clearance required for identified job roles.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust or extremes in temperature. Frequent exposures to communicable diseases and moderately adverse working conditions due to the need to perform certain patient care activities.

GENERAL SUMMARY The Patient Care Assistant supports the practice clinical staff and performs indirect patient care activities focusing on maintaining an efficient clinical environment and the systems in which outpatient nursing care is delivered. Under the general direction of a clinical lead, the Patient Care Assistant provides a variety of uncomplicated clinical treatments and services for assigned patients in a patient care area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates throughput within outpatient medical practice to include obtaining vital signs and transporting patients within the outpatient medical practice.
Enters patient screening forms accurately into electronic health record system.
Performs general administrative duties to include but not limited to faxing, scanning, filing and copying.
Cleans and stocks patient rooms and nursing stations.
Schedules patient appointments.
Provides appropriate non-clinical information to facilitate visit process.
Maintains supplies, equipment and instruments.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Certification as a nurse assistant preferred.
Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician preferred.

Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetical or numeric systems.
