Responsibilities
Listen - actively engage with senior business leaders and technology solution partners to capture key business priorities and value drivers
Understand - work with current-state business capability model to identify areas of gap, misalignment, and deficiencies
Envision - work closely with EA domain owners to construct multi-year roadmaps that would address gaps and deficiencies identified in the BCM
Anticipate - play out -what if- scenarios with fellow EAs and partners to prevent tunnel vision and build viable alternatives for -best-case- plans
Collaborate - work with EA peers to ensure roadmaps are adhered to without being dogmatic and idealistic, making pragmatic adjustments along the way
Document - own and drive the maintenance and upkeep of enterprise estate artifacts (-City Map-) as well as roadmaps, using leading EA tooling - specifically Ardoq
Champion - regularly connect with change leaders to share vision and value of the roadmap, soliciting and incorporate feedback into revisions
Explore - stay informed on innovative, emerging macro technology trends
Qualifications
Ten years of related experience in crafting, implementing, and operating IT technologies is required
Eight years of experience in architecture practices or similar functions
Consistent track record in Enterprise Architecture roles
Knowledge of business capability modeling, technology road-mapping, technology strategy formulation, and estate management is required
Confirmed strength in critical thinking and leadership with strong abilities in positive relationship management among peers, team members, and within all levels of the organization
Capability to implement the vision, drive business results, and drive strategic growth in a highly dynamic environment
Business acuity and detailed knowledge of general principles of finance, budget, ITIL, project management, secure systems development lifecycle, and IT Security
Accomplished change leader

The primary objective for this work from home seasonal position is to provide access and registration support to Cengage customers utilizing digital solutions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Provide inbound, live support for customers using Cengage digital solutions.
Utilize administrative tools and documentation to assist in the analysis of access and registration issues reported by customers.
Identify issues with digital solutions and provide resolution. Also identify issues which require expert assistance and raise appropriately.
Fully and accurately detail customer interactions using a ticketing system.
When written communication to a customer is required, provide clear and accurate directions.
Skill/Knowledge/Experience
Required
You are a high school graduate at minimum.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
Proven understanding of Microsoft operating systems and Office suites is required,
Proven understanding of Apple operating systems is highly preferred.

Basic purpose:
The International Consolidation Accountant is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of financial results, assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes, coordination of accounting and financial reporting activities across international entities and assistance with the implementation of special projects.
Principal responsibilities:
Planning and Forecasting
Preparation of consolidated -Flash Reports- which demonstrate current progress against the annual budget
Consolidation / preparation and distribution of monthly Cengage Global Business dashboards
Ensure plan submissions from the international regions are accurately reflected within Cengage's planning system and provide support to the regions regarding data loads into the system
Preparation of business unit financial analyses to support strategic decision making, including regional profitability reviews, spend reviews and investment appraisals
Accounting, Tax and Compliance
Prepare quarterly transfer pricing calculation for the international regions
Assist with the research and resolution of accounting matters
Assist with the goodwill impairment analysis for the international regions
Assist with the compliance process for the international regions
Assist with the oversight of the external audit process for the international regions
Process Improvement and Special Projects
Assist with the implementation of the Cengage Internal Controls Program across the international regions
Assist with Enterprise Resource Planning (-ERP-) changes and implementations for the international regions
Continuously seek opportunities to standardize and improve international processes
Assist with the implementation of any applicable special projects, such as new accounting standard implementations, across the international regions as applicable
Assist with the changes to the chart of accounts and metadata within Cengage systems
