Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Installation Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand the customer requirements

  • Review and modify work orders for accuracy of scope, clarity, required dates, customer contact information and product availability

  • Contact customer for scheduling of events: pre-site, delivery and installation

  • Update Installation Calendar with pertinent job condition

  • Track and record number of installations by product type

  • Receive pre-site notes, exit checklist, change orders, pictures and invoices for storage, and processing customer advocacy; Provide formal and final pricing to customer for services requested; Point of contact for questions, concerns, and/or complaints

  • Write credit memos and sales orders as needed for returns and rescheduled appointments

Qualifications

  • Prior installation coordinating experience is strongly preferred

  • Ability to apply expert level product and installation knowledge

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and communicate effectively

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with both internal and external customers

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm plus overtime as needed and a Saturday rotation schedule

Pay Expectation: $18 - $22 an hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers on the showroom floor

  • Strive to increase knowledge of entire product offering

  • Support efforts of Outside Sales Associates

  • Work hand-in-hand with Showroom Sales consultants by performing the administrative functions that ensure our customer's needs are being met.

  • Support the Showroom Sales team by ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate order processing.

  • Updating customer contracts, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse, and answer sales calls for general information.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of prior customer service experience preferred

  • Knowledge of plumbing fixtures, lighting, and appliances preferred

  • Results oriented, able to meet goals, build relationships, and enjoy a team environment

  • Excellent communication for phone/in-person sales, time management and organizational skills

This position oversees a team of hourly associates working a 3rd shift schedule Sunday - Thursday beginning at 9:30PM.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork

  • Ensure warehouse space is used optimally and kept clean and orderly

  • Provide mentorship and direction to team members in proper receiving procedures

  • Communicate with receiving clerks, HQ, and drivers regarding status of inbound deliveries and changes to receiving schedules

  • Research and resolve issues involving purchase order and receiving documents

  • Ensure that all receiving documentation, freight claims, and correspondence with HQ are promptly completed with attention to detail

  • Promote safe work practices and resolve all safety concerns as identified

  • Establish and communicate performance standards to associates

  • Lead team in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Conduct counseling, mentoring, and performance appraisals as indicated

  • Provide recommendations for selection of new associates to join the team

  • Participate in regular communication and meetings of DC leadership to coordinate shift activities

Qualifications

  • A strong background in warehouse operations and logistics

  • Prior management, supervisory or people leadership experience

  • Prior experience in a Warehouse Management or Warehouse Supervisor role, preferred

  • Receiving/Inbound and inventory experience is strongly preferred

  • A solid understanding of OSHA regulations

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

When you would start:

The Sales Trainee Program starts at different times throughout the year, and you will begin alongside a cohort with each start date. The two upcoming start dates are August 19, 2024 & December 9, 2024 (location dependent).

Program Graduation:

Upon graduating from the program, there are several elevated sales destination roles this program leads into, such as a Showroom Consultant, Sales Project Manager, and Customer Account Rep. Placement into destination roles is based on individual preferences and business need.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the sales team in various tasks such as outlining project tasks and timelines, prospecting for new leads, and handling customer inquiries.

  • Assist in the development of sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation required for closing deals.

  • Support sales projects and initiatives by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

  • Interact with customers to understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide information about products or services.

  • Capture feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferred; 1-3 years of experience accepted in lieu of bachelor's degree

This role is approved to be a hybrid role based out of Newport News, VA. in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote. Please see below requirements for more information on hybrid work possibilities.

Key duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist in development of the project schedule with project manager, BIM designers and other staff.

  • Maintain contract document control, requests for information, clarifications, change orders and submittals in writing, including routing and tracking.

  • Prepare and submit materials matrix from specifications and design documents.

  • Review procurement submittals and IOM to ensure contract compliance with design drawings.

  • Coordinate equipment/materials supplied by vendors or subcontractors with design documents.

  • Review project drawings and specifications to determine needs, priorities, progress of work and compliance with contract requirements

  • Provide day-to-day support for modeling and project management teams to facilitate production

  • Assist with pipe sizing, valve layout, and specialties for equipment connections.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3+ years leadership/management experience is preferred

  • Prior plumbing or HVAC industry experience is strongly preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Valid state issued license is required

  • Ability to lead and empower individuals and teams

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively lead through stressful situations

  • Proven track record to use data and metrics to implement effective solutions

  • Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering results

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour or higher depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs

  • Processing orders via order management system

  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures

  • Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up

  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised

  • Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas

  • Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

  • May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience preferred

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products is preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Valid state issued license is required.

  • General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required

  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise

  • General math skills to allow for cash accounting

  • An ability to learn is a must have!

  • Excellent decision making and communication skills
