MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN III - Dal-Tile Corporation

Scheduled shift : Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30PM

  • Exposure with metal dies to be used in production presses.

  • Produces metal parts for repair of mechanical and other equipment

  • Works with Production Supervisors and/or Managers to ensure PM Schedule is met within 14 day window documented in SOP.

  • Makes necessary machine adjustments for proper operations.

  • Makes electrical machinery and equipment repairs.

  • Troubleshoot and replacement of components in PLC, and OEM systems plant wide.

  • Troubleshoot and replacement of motors and motor starter system.

  • Troubleshoot and replacement of invertors used plant wide.

  • Performs required PM's according to PM calendar.

  • Informs Supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.

  • Follows ISO operating procedures.

  • Completes maintenance work orders for all maintenance work completed.

  • Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized.

  • Promotes to and adheres to all safety and health policies and procedures of the plant.

  • Complete all required training, including ergonomic, safety, health and environmental.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Education & Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience.

  • Industrial electrical experience preferred

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As the Warehouse Associate we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective

Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Major Function and Scope

  • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

  • Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

  • Operates forklift equipment.

  • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

  • May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.

  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

  • Bending and Lifting up to 80lbs

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator

1+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Design Sales Consultant to join our TEAM! As the Design Sales Consultant we need someone to provide interior design and product selection advice, product expertise, and thorough follow up to facilitate customer experience and influence sales/purchasing decision. Uses the showroom as a selling tool to drive specifications and sales as well as brand awareness.

Showroom Hours: M-F 10am-6pm and Rotating Sat 9am-3pm*

Responsibilities:

  • Provides interior design advice and product expertise, facilitates tile and stone selection, and project development/support ensuring the completion of selection/sales for all customers. Where applicable utilizing Auto-CAD Project Management.

  • Logs all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in CMT. Effectively communicates with customers and internal team members to follow lead and ensure tracking/follow up and sales closure. Reports sales closures monthly.

  • Prospects for new business with an emphasis on Custom Builders and Residential Designers. Makes outside sales calls as needed and follows up on leads to grow and drive business. As the Warehouse Associate we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective

  • Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Major Function and Scope

  • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

  • Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

  • Operates forklift equipment.

  • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

  • May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.

  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Experience and Knowledge Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator

  • 3+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.

Competencies

  • Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail oriented, and safety conscious.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
