Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As the Customer Service/Warehouse Associate will need someone who is responsible for providing a variety of support such as servicing walk in customers, completing sales transactions conjunction of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position may involve daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective

Performs a variety of customer service/office administration and warehouse duties related to the operation of a Sales Service Center.

Major Function and Scope

Performs various customer service duties such as: waiting on customers, assisting customers in determining order requirements, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, providing direction/selection assistance, completing sales transactions, and accepting payments.

Addresses and resolves customer complaints (returns and order errors).

Performs various office administration duties such as processing payments and receipts, reconciliation of DSR's and cash box, preparation of bank deposits, balance petty cash box, prepares various performance reports, updates customer master file and creates vendor orders.

Performs various product order duties such as entering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders, and completing stock replenishment orders.

Waits on customers and prepare sales slips.

Produces daily sales reports.

Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

Operates forklift equipment.

Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleaning and general office maintenance, etc.

Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

HS diploma or equivalent experience;

1 or more years customer service experience and warehouse experience

Competencies

Organization, math, time management, computer skills, detail oriented, customer service, safety conscious.

• Keep work area clean and safe, and put tools and supplies in designated storage areas Education & Knowledge: High school diploma or GED Required. Experience: 1-3 year previous manufacturing/production experience. Competencies: Basic math skills, organization skills, detail oriented, and safety conscious. Ability to understand and speak basic English. SHIFT SCHEDULE:

Nights: 6pm to 6am

Week 1: MON, TUES, FRI, SAT

PAY:

$17.74 per hour, plus $.50-night shift differential pay

Performs mechanical duties on machines and equipment needed for production and performs the maintenance and upkeep of all systems and plant equipment as required

• Examines machines and equipment to diagnose the source of trouble in area of responsibilities

• Examines machinery and plant equipment to ensure effective operation, including but not limited to, preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, cleaning and other responsibilities as required by Maintenance Manager, Department Manager or Maintenance Leads.

• Dismantles machines and performs repairs.

• Makes necessary machine adjustments for proper operation.

• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.

• Performs ELECTRICAL repairs and installations.

• Informs manager or lead/s of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.

• Follows ISO operating procedures.

• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.

• Performs other related duties as required. Education and Knowledge: Industrial Maintenance Certification with emphasis on ELECTRICAL, required or equivalent experience in ceramic tile industry. Experience: 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience. Industrial electrical experience preferred . Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Ability to test motors and electrical circuits using a voltmeter and amp meter. Ability to read and understand procedures in English.

As the freight finance manager, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of supporting activities to the operations team and create/track against metrics while also leading the monthly financial close, budget, forecast and ad hoc projects..

Primary Objective

Support and drive value within the freight operations

Major Function and Scope

Develops and presents strategic plans including operational efficiencies, capital expenditures, and other financial measures.

Develops and implements annual operating plan and tracks results to plan.

Oversees period close of financial records including preparation and dissemination of financial reports.

Prepares current forecast of annual performance.

Identifies opportunities for reducing cost or improving efficiencies in coordination with operations management.

Analyzes performance of key business areas to ensure optimal performance.

Prepares various ad hoc reports and provides detailed analysis of data as requested by operations management.

Ensures financial integrity that includes compliance with SOX and GAAP.

SAP and BI reporting experience is a plus

Strong data gathering skills and demonstrated analysis experience, comfortable working with large datasets

Coaches and trains staff as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Knowledge Required

5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA and professional certification highly preferred.
