Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As the Warehouse Associate we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks.

Primary Objective

  • Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

  • This position involves the use of the Sit-Down, Stand up, and Reach Truck Forklifts.

Major Function and Scope

  • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

  • Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

  • Operates crane forklift equipment.

  • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

  • May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.

  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator

  • Crane Forklift experience+ 3+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.

Competencies:

  • Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail oriented, and safety conscious.

  • Performs various office administration duties such as processing payments and receipts, reconciliation of DSR's and cash box, preparation of bank deposits, balance petty cash box, prepares various performance reports, updates customer master file and creates vendor orders.

  • Performs various product order duties such as entering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders, and completing stock replenishment orders.

  • Waits on customers and prepare sales slips.

  • Produces daily sales reports.

Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Rep to increase the market share. The Outside Sales Rep will increase account base by servicing existing customers and expand account base through cold calling.

Primary Objective:

Increase market share and sales for the Dal-Tile Countertop in the prescribed region/area. Increase account base by servicing existing customers and expand account base through cold calling

Major Function and Scope:

  • Conducts weekly sales calls - includes servicing existing customer as well as cold calling potential customers (average 4-5 cold calls per week).

  • Prepares weekly -Sales- and -Call- reports.

  • Develops monthly strategy for sales calls and prepares monthly travel calendar based on that strategy.

  • Conducts area market analysis of top accounts in each area - include top Dealers, top Contractors and top Builders.

  • Researches area market product data to determine the types, styles and sizes most commonly purchased in the area to determine sales strategy.

  • Grows market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company approved product margin goals.

  • Completes -Positive Action Forms- for all cold calls resulting in a display, rack and/or sale.

  • Utilizes influence and negotiation skills to sell and/or place displays in customer's showrooms.

  • Conducts client follow-ups via phone calls, letters and/or emails.

  • Establishes and maintains client files and performs timely follow up on programs and projects.

  • Provides PK seminars to customers.

  • Utilizes -On Demand- reporting to achieve sales objectives.

  • Performs other duties as required

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • High school diploma and some college highly preferred. Computer skills to include functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/email. Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required.

  • 4 years prior selling experience. Prior customer service experience is a plus. Proven ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment is required.

  • Competencies

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under little or no supervision. Must possess proven interpersonal skills including influencing and negotiation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma and some college highly preferred. Computer skills to include functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/email. Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required.

4 years prior selling experience. Prior customer service experience is a plus. Proven ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment is required.

The primary objective for this operator is to coordinate, receive, and account for raw materials at our facility.

Major Functions and Scope :

  • Receive and sign bill of lading documents of material shipments of raw materials including quartz, chemicals and consumable items utilized in the manufacturing process.

  • Coordinate and work with the Raw Materials Supervisor for scheduling of raw material deliveries to the facility.

  • Operate forklifts to unload materials and packages from incoming trucks.

  • Inspect shipments to verify quantity and ensure contents are undamaged upon receipt.

  • Work with Quality Control to ensure materials are in conformance with purchasing specifications.

  • Label, transport and store raw materials to their designated storage locations upon receipt.

  • Notify Raw Materials Supervisor of any materials received damaged, short or out of specification.

  • Deliver consumable items used in production their designated locations on the production line.

  • Utilize computer to receive items into inventory.

  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory.

  • Complete other tasks as needed.

Education and Experience:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and write basic English, & basic math and computer skills.

One + years forklift experience and experience in receiving large quantities of materials / shipments is required.

Primary Objective

  • Trouble shoot PLC's (Programmable Logic Controller) using hand held device or laptop.

As the Customer Service Representative, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as servicing walk-in customers, answering customer inquiries, provide samples and complete sales transactions.

Primary Objective:

  • To ensure effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support. Process sales orders and resolve customer product or service issues.

  • Provides customer account management which may include, but is not limited to, order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check and transportation management in a call center environment.

  • Provides customer service for a high volume of inbound calls using ACD (Automated Call Distribution).

  • Responsible for keying in orders, processing faxes and preparation of reports.

  • Interfaces with various groups including, but not limited to, internal teams and SSCs, to address customer inquiries and order issues from order entry to order delivery.

  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.

  • 3+ years call center or customer service experience. Focus on customer account management preferred. Prior textile industry knowledge is preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required. Good voice quality that is conversational and professional. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines, and processing standards. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills required. Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship building skills. Must have a moderate level of computer skills in Word and Excel. Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, manage priorities and manage time effectively. Primary Objective:

  • Performs complex mechanical duties and a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair and/or distribution of electrical energy. Installs, maintains and replaces electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment.

  • Trouble shoot PLC's (Programmable Logic Controller) using hand held device or laptop.

  • Design and redesign program and software (PLCs, operator panels, etc).

  • Format hard drives and install to the computers (Computer Setup) and PC application

  • Installs, maintains or repairs equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy in a manufacturing environment.

  • Locates and diagnosis trouble in electrical systems or equipment working from blue prints, drawings, layouts or other specifications.

  • Works standard computations related to load requirements of wiring and/or electrical equipment.

  • Basic knowledge of Serial port communication systems, VFD's (Variable Frequency Drives) and process control instrumentation devices (thermocouples, pressure switches, etc).

  • Basic knowledge of Servomotors and drive units.

  • Continuously reviewing their respective area for ideas and thoughts that will drive productivity and reduce costs within the organization and be able to professionally speak to their solution for improvement.

  • Process improvement (Plan and submit process improvements and execute the plan)

  • Uses a variety of electrician's tools including measuring and testing instruments.

  • Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.

As the Sr. Customs Compliance Analyst, we need someone who will be able to operate as subject matter expert on brokerage operations, communicate with customs/government officials and maintain compliance with import laws and regulations.

Primary Objective.

Sr. Customs Compliance Analyst is responsible for executing day-to-day brokerage operations including daily planning and prioritizing in-house-brokerage activities reporting directly to the Customs Compliance Manager. Employee will ensure customs entries are filed timely and compliantly as mandated by U.S. Customs regulations. This position supports internal and external customers. In addition, this role assists the Customs Compliance Manager as required.

Major Function and Scope

Researches and troubleshoots import shipments acting as second level support to Custom Compliance Analysts, conduct post entry corrections, review systems, and conduct audits to meet ISA requirements.

Provides operational and reporting support for compliance team initiatives via ACE and/or Ad Hoc Reports though Power BI.

Handles Customs Broker inquiries, classification requests, and troubleshoots related issues in support of both internal and external customers.

Communicates with Customs and other government officials, including the authorization of duty payments to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Maintains procedures to ensure compliance with import laws and regulations and provides procedural guidance and assists personnel in resolving complex import related issues.

Identifies key opportunities for continuous process improvements, implements solutions to eliminate risk and identifies compliance deficiencies.

Assists with Customs Compliance training for internal departments.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

Customs Broker License and/or Certified Customs Specialist (CSS) required.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred.

3 or more years' experience in customs brokerage and/or internal customs compliance experience.

Dal-Tile is a self-filer and experience with preparation of 7501 and 3461 documents is a benefit.

Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, procedures and documentation.

Strong knowledge of HTS and classification.

Familiar with Descartes ABI software a plus.

SAP experience is a plus.

Competencies

Proficiency skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, and word-processing. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Basic math skills. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
