  • Administer and monitor the manufacturers incentive programs (if any).

A Day in the Life:

To provide the Damuth 5-Star Experience to internal and external customers by meeting customer needs and commitments through the overall performance and execution of BAS service agreements, BAS retrofit projects, and system service. Develop customer relationships with building owners, work in coordination with the BAS service team leader and direct sales team in developing system solutions, and increasing the BAS service agreements.

  • Perform remote site analysis via modem or web access on servicing products and equipment.

  • Maintain client relations and deliver world class client service

  • Respond to trouble calls and work with minimal assistance to diagnose and repair

  • Perform warranty work to include attending warranty hand-off meetings when needed, may be required to visit warranty sites.

  • Assist with development of solutions.

  • Fulfill contract obligations effectively and efficiently

  • Responsible for completing and turning in all service reports and inspection sheets in a timely manner.

  • Maintain company vehicle cleanliness, tools and safety equipment.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Preferred - Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 5 years of experience in control systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Required - Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD beneficial

  • Required - Experience with HVAC systems and controls troubleshooting

  • Preferred - Familiarity with Trane Tracer Summit Architecture

    Physical Requirements

As an Associate Account Manager/ Sales Engineer, you work with engineers, architects, contractors and owners/ developers in the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts and services for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.   • Collects, organizes, and assembles data for reports, presentations and/or special projects.

  • Conducts price estimates and quotations for projects.

  • Conducts customer visits and customer events to build relationships with key accounts.

  • Monitors and tracks quoted projects and current orders.

  • Manages plan and specification takeoffs, selection, pricing, and bidding.

  • Conducts formal presentations and training sessions with customer groups.

    A Day in the Life:

    With safety being top priority, service technician will be responsible for operating, repairing, and maintaining equipment including: HVAC equipment, building control system, systems involving electric and pneumatic air flow, water flow, gas/electric heating and cooling equipment, boilers, valves, apparatus and lines used in the distribution of heated, chilled or processed water, building automation system, variable frequency drive units, and computerized Maintenance Management System.

  • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products.

  • Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.

  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.

  • Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.

  • Represents the company by serving as a direct customer contact.

  • Assists in ordering parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need

  • Documents work electronically on each job daily, to include progress, duration; and maintaining files and reports submitting in a timely manner.

  • Records parts, material, labor, subs and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.

  • Read and interpret product specifications and have experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs.

  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.

The Estimator will work closely with the Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Sales staff, subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure timely completion of a detailed cost estimate.

A Day in the Life:

Primary Role

  • Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.

  • Represents the company by serving as a direct customer contact.

A Day in the Life:

  • Execute SPD and warranty repairs completing all required documentation as requested.

  • Maintain assigned stock of inventory, company equipment, and document all related activities.

  • Support the execution of SPD and warranty repairs as requested.

  • Coordinate activities on projects as assigned using appropriate methods and established standards for communication.

  • Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files as required.

  • Record parts, material, labor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.

  • Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight stays. (2 %)

    Education & Experience

    Technical Knowledge Requirements

  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Lock out / tag out procedures.

  • Analog and Binary function using industry standard terms.

  • Troubleshoot basic controls circuits including starters, safety shutdowns and typical HVAC systems.

  • PID loops and device scaling for typical control applications.

  • Basic refrigeration cycle.

  • Air Handler and Rooftop Unit construction in VAV and constant volume applications.

  • General pumping and fluid system application.

  • Control valve and damper wiring used in commercial HVAC applications.

  • Identify and explain basic application of Trane controllers available to construct an automation system.
