GENERAL SUMMARY:

Customer Service Representative is responsible for the private fleet administrative functions. Responsibility includes planning, tracking, tracing, and reporting on inbound and outbound dedicated loads. Works with the private fleet on-site team to ensure on time store deliveries, tractor utilization, inbound reverse logistics on time pick up, and driver safety and legal compliance operations.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Plan and assign outbound, vendor backhaul, and OVD loads

. Plan and assign rolltainer sweeps and dunnage consolidations

. Reporting Function:

. Report on time load pick up

. Report on time store delivery

. Report BOL pick up

. Report on tractor utilization

. Report on vendor backhaul pickup and delivery

. Answer and process driver load messages through satellite communications and plan

swaps

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Ensures all machines and equipment are in working order.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Troubleshoots and repairs lift trucks, pallet jacks and cat fork trucks: hydraulics; motor and drive unit replacement; tire and wheel replacement load position; basic programming for access 1 modules on rolling stock; change tanks, forks, and peddles; repair/replace cylinders.

  • Troubleshoots and repairs conveyor system: repair electrical and mechanical components; may troubleshoot Graphical Monitoring System (GMS); troubleshoots and repairs sortview controller, programmable logic controllers or RTS (pick-to-light system); fabricates machine parts unavailable for purchase.

  • Performs preventative maintenance.

  • Operates equipment battery change equipment.

  • Performs routine maintenance on building such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs (i.e., change light bulbs).

  • Repairs racking.

  • May operate scrubber/sweeper machine.

  • Meets and maintains safety, quality and productivity standards.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

  • Ability to operate: band saws, drill presses, hand tools, vises, clamps, gear pullers, bearing pullers, lathes, volt amp meters, calipers and rolling stock equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Good math and computer skills.

  • Competency to operate computers for sortview, RTC, HSM, VFD, and RTS systems.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for the management of all employees in the effective planning and implementation of all store processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.

  • Ensure that all merchandise is presented according to established practices; utilize merchandise fixtures properly including presentation, product pricing and signage.

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for the management of and training for the execution of store merchandising for new store, relocation and remodel projects.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Plans and manages execution of new, relocating and remodel store fixture installation and merchandise setup (including management of outsource companies, and implementation of plan-o-grams, signage, etc).

  • Evaluates and resolves issues, reacting under pressure and applying good judgment in ambiguous situations.

  • Leverages resources and maintains tough expense control by maximizing performance and productivity of outsource companies and store staff to deliver on-time openings.

  • Trains store staff (temporary and newly-hired) on appropriate merchandising processes.

  • Develops and maintains strong internal corporate partnerships to ensure that all project goals are achieved. (Examples: transportation, advertising, distribution, merchandising, etc).

  • Completes all reports and travel expenses accurately and timely.

General Summary:
