The Operations Coordinator is the primary contact between the dealership and reconditioning team. The coordinator ensures all retail customer vehicles are completed within the expected delivery times and new and used vehicle reconditioning work is identified and routed through our reconditioning shop as quickly as possible. Auto Body Paint Prepper

This person will have numerous duties and opportunities to learn the Dent Wizard Auto Body restoration business. They'll also prep vehicles for the painting process, be trained on touchups, wet sand & buffs, windshield chip repairs, and headlight restoration among other skills. This new role will prepare the right person to eventually become a highly skilled technician within 3-6 months in the area that they are most interested in; PDR, Wheel/Paint Technician, or Interior Technician. Location is in the Raleigh, NC area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Wash vehicles to remove dirt, oil, grease, and debris from painted surfaces.

• Locate and remove imperfections on panels prior to painting. Treat scratched and chipped areas with plastic or liquid filler.

• Apply paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces, such as bumpers, windows, chrome trim, and other parts while surrounding areas are spray-painted.

• Tapes the car up using tape, paper, and plastic bags so we only paint the parts of the car we intend to paint.

• Smooth unmasked surfaces with sandpaper removing gloss from previous coats of paint. Sand rough spots.

• After vehicle is painted, remove masking tape, and clean vehicle. Move vehicle to designated area for buffing.

• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., assist supervisor in training and orienting new employees, perform housekeeping duties, etc.

• May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.

The Operations Coordinator is the primary contact between the dealership and reconditioning team. The coordinator ensures all retail customer vehicles are completed within the expected delivery times and new and used vehicle reconditioning work is identified and routed through our reconditioning shop as quickly as possible. Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for logging and tracking all workflow in priority order for use by all shop employees and communicate any issues to the dealer

• Maintain the positioning and transportation of vehicles between the dealership and the shop

• Manage all billing and invoicing

• Interact with dealer's customers as required.

• Follow company procedures and policies at all times.
