The National Accounts Retail Sales Intern is responsible for supporting our sales and marketing efforts at large national big-box home Improvement locations.

Put your classroom studies into practice in the real world and gain the experience to help determine your journey after graduation. At GAF, we'll ensure you get going on your first day with a comprehensive orientation into our company. In our program, you will have the opportunity to work in the field, participate in quarterly business meetings, and work cross-functionally with other RSRs/SSRs in the field meeting contractors, retail store pro desk teams, and outside sales reps who call on Managed Accounts
GAF is looking for a National Accounts Retail Sales Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Business, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and would be looking to consider a career in sales once they finish college. The intern would be assigned to one of our five managers and asked to do several specific projects related to the National Accounts Retail business.
Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Gain hands-on experience by being in the field 3-4 days/week
Work with the local GAF Retail Sales Rep to learn the business
Interns will visit Retail stores, and work with store associates daily
Outbound phone calls to Non-Certified Contractors who have signed up for GAF Rewards to learn and help them develop their business
Participate in storm recovery efforts (travel may be required)
Working PRO Days events as scheduled in local markets
Cold-calling new contractors to learn about their business
Presenting at our QBR Meetings
Research our competitors online and provide reviews/comparisons
Outbound phone calling to Retail Stores key contacts (Home Depot & Lowes) and their outside Field Personnel to assist them with building their business
Learn GAF Roofing products and use this knowledge when talking with key retail store personnel, contractors, and business owners
Gain practical experience using Salesforce CRM and Tableau Data metrics to analyze and make recommendations to grow sales
Take on other projects as assigned
Some travel may be required
Physical Demands
Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and travel without assistance routinely
Ability to position self to bend, pull, and reach overhead and/or below shoulder level to perform filling functions, lifting, carrying, and moving of up to 50 lbs of products/materials occasionally
Frequent driving, moving about, sitting, walking, and standing; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Ability to wear and work in PPE occasionally
Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps occasionally

Excellent written, organization, and communication skills
Strong time management skills
The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026
Ability to travel minimally within assigned territory if needed
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future.

Summary
The Press Maintenance Technician responsibilities include maintaining, and repairing stamping press equipment to the subassembly or component level, developing preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, participating in continuous improvement efforts for equipment, process, and maintenance programs, plus cross-training plant personnel. This position assists in implementing machine modifications and upgrades, conducts research and development to resolve issues, and recommends improvements to the overall performance of the plant equipment and systems with lean manufacturing tools like SMED, and 5s.
The position requires prior experience with Stamping Press maintenance and repair, plus basic equipment maintenance experience.
Daily requirements include troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacement of industrial equipment including power transmission components, conveyors, pumps, valves, piping, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, brakes, and clutches.
Regular Work Schedule:
First Shift: 5:00am to 3:30pm (Monday through Thursday)

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain, adjust and repair stamping presses, 22 stamping presses in total, ranging from 60-400 ton. OEMs include, Seyi, Aida, Clearing, Blow, Minister, Johnson and others.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs, and preventative maintenance, on other industrial
equipment including, conveyors, pumps, valves, piping, gearboxes,
pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electromechanical machinery when needed.
Initiate, develop and participate in the implementation of equipment modifications,
equipment upgrades and continuous process improvements to improve productivity and
reliability.
Provide technical guidance to personnel in proper maintenance procedures.
Assist in improving unscheduled downtime and maintenance costs.
Document equipment maintenance including inspections, repairs and modifications.
Conduct technical audits of equipment condition status and report findings.
Perform all duties in a safe manner, avoiding injuries to self and all coworkers.
Actively pursue and maintain total plant safety.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to correct operational and safety problems.
Clean equipment and building to maintain housekeeping standards.

Team or Function Overview
The Field Services team supports and partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide best in class installation and services of our commercial roofing products. This team supports the Siplast line with additional support for GAF, GAF Energy and other Standard Industries businesses as needed. This position can be based in Houston, TX, Lake Charles or New Orleans, LA but supports an area from Southeast Texas over to Southern Alabama and reports to the Regional Manager Field Tech.
Summary
The District Technical Representative performs the day to day services within their assigned region and provides area-based field training to primarily external customers across all brands, as needed. He/she will be responsible for performing and completing roof inspections, performing specialized tasks to resolve problems, providing hands-on training within their assigned area/region, and providing weekly activity reports. Additional responsibilities include prioritizing, scheduling and performing warranty, guarantee and complaint inspections within the area of assigned responsibility without direct supervision.
Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Completes roof Inspections including leak and complaint inspections
Travels to neighboring areas to complete roof inspections
Prioritizes open inspection requests to formulate a productive schedule
Completes commercial roof inspections including: start ups, interims and finals
Provides technical training seminars primarily to internal and external customers/contractors for the Siplast line with additional support for GAF, GAF Energy and other Standard Industries businesses as needed
Trains and demonstrates proper application of Siplast products with a hands on approach
Ensures necessary tools, gear, and inventory are available for training activities
Recommendsbest practices, applications and procedures
Assists in problem resolution, complaints and provides proper written communication to internal and external business partners and owners/customers
Provides technical assistance to internal and external business partners
Completes timely reports for all completed inspections
Partners cross-functionally with the various stakeholders across the brands, field peers, and the selling organization

Essential Duties:
The Electrical Technician is an individual who must have excellent electrical knowledge and some mechanical knowledge to work in a team environment to maintain the site facilities on a 24-hour seven-day week operation. This position will work a Monday - Friday, first shift role, with overtime as needed.

Team or Function Overview
The Field Services team supports and partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide best in class installation and services of our commercial and residential roofing products. This team supports the entire GAF product line for commercial and residential with additional support for Siplast, GAF Energy and other Standard Industries businesses as needed. This position reports to the Area Director Field Services or Regional Manager Field Services as applicable.
Summary
The Field Services Representative - TimberSteel performs the day to day services within their assigned region and provides area-based field training to primarily external customers across all brands, as needed. He/she will be responsible for performing and completing roof inspections, performing specialized tasks to resolve problems, providing hands-on training within their assigned area/region, and providing weekly activity reports. Additional responsibilities include prioritizing, scheduling and performing warranty, guarantee and complaint inspections within the area of assigned responsibility without direct supervision. The Field Services Representative - TimberSteel will obtain a drone certification within the first 6 months.
Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Completes roof Inspections including leak and complaint inspections
Travels to neighboring areas to complete roof inspections
Prioritizes open inspection requests to formulate a productive schedule
Completes Commercial and Residential Roof inspections including: start ups, interims and finals
Assists in problem resolution, complaints and provides proper written communication to internal and external business partners and owners/customers
Provides technical expertise on the TimberSteel system to solve for new, unique and/or complex installations
Includes material projections/forecasting and inventory management before and during installation
Completes and communicates timely reports, insights and updates for all field activities
Provides technical training seminars primarily to external customers for the TimberSteel system and may include GAF product line for commercial and residential with additional support for Siplast, GAF Energy and other Standard Industries businesses as needed
Partners cross-functionally with the various stakeholders across the brands, and, in particular, the GAF CARE organization, field peers, and the selling organization

Summary
The Warehouse Associate I is an entry level position. The Warehouse Associate I should be familiar with all areas of the fork truck driving procedures for safely loading and unloading trucks to maintain efficient, safe operations. The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for all order picking, order verification and loading of customer or carriers' vehicles in a safe manner. Learns software programs by reading and understanding manuals and procedures

Summary

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment to the subassembly or component level, assisting in developing preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, participating in continuous improvement efforts for equipment, process, and maintenance programs, and cross-training plant personnel. This position assists in implementing machine modifications and upgrades, conducts research and development to resolve issues, and recommends improvements to the overall performance of the plant equipment and systems.

Second Shift: 3:30pm to 2:00am (Monday through Thursday)

Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform troubleshooting and repairs, and preventative maintenance, on industrial equipment including, conveyors, pumps, valves, piping, gearboxes, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electromechanical machinery.
Participate in the implementation of equipment modifications, equipment upgrades, plus continuous process improvements to improve productivity and reliability.
Safety consciousness with a thorough understanding of federal, state, local and plant-wide safety standards and concepts.
Assist in improving unscheduled downtime and maintenance costs.
Document equipment maintenance including inspection, repairs, and modifications.
Conduct technical audits of equipment condition status and report findings.
Assist in training maintenance technicians, plant operators, and other personnel.
Perform all duties in a safe manner, avoiding injuries to self and all coworkers.
Actively pursue and maintain total plant safety.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to correct operational and safety problems.
Clean equipment and buildings to maintain housekeeping standards.
Physical Demands
Under This Roof, We Require
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years applying technical experience in an industrial setting.
Prior experience in industrial maintenance and repair of equipment as well as basic electric and process control experience preferred
Proficiency with basic computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use Maximo maintenance management software.
Occasional shift, weekend, and holiday coverage is required.

The Commercial Training Specialist will drive world class learning & development initiatives for both internal talent and GAF's external customers. The overall focus is on GAF commercial single-ply, ISO and coatings product lines. The specialist is responsible for presentation development, hands-on product application training and curriculum development focused on the TPO & ISO product lines and their correct field application.

Responsible for training GAF commercial contractors and distribution partners in the finer points of commercial product installations.
Capture & share best practices about product installation.
Monitors and evaluates technical training programs, assesses results and implements enhancements as needed to ensure the effectiveness of programs
Conduct project site visits & job starts to review in-progress or complete project installations. Develop tools to develop GAF employees regarding job starts and inspections.
Assist in developing new products and capabilities for commercial roofing products. Focus primarily on single-ply products.

Minimum of 8 years applicable experience in the commercial roofing industry, preferably with experience as a Superintendent or Foreman with single-ply product lines.
