Gathers and maintains record documents
Makes field notes and computations

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects including scope, schedule, and budget. This position is the lead technical advisor on specialized systems or processes for JMT. Responsibilities also include engineering design and technical staff development using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments with limited supervision. Acts as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers. Supports MEP growth through strong technical focus on quality deliverables. Coordinates work for various state and federal agencies.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope
Supervise production of design computations
Supervise and/or prepare and compile contract plans, specifications, and estimates
Attend meetings with clients
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects

Perform design computations
Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools

This position is responsible for leading various environmental site assessments, remedial designs, and permit applications. The team member will oversee field staff performing investigations and remediation activities at contaminated properties, and lead report preparation.
