JMT's Newark, DE Administration Team is seeking an Administrative Assistant to be responsible for office administration tasks. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    General Administration

  • Review and edit various documents. Support office staff with document formatting.

  • Create general communication/correspondence.

  • Organize documents

  • Schedule monthly Office Meetings, coordinate presenters and prepare draft agenda

  • Copy, bind documents to create reports

  • Process incoming/outgoing mail

  • Answer and transfer incoming calls

    Office Space

  • Maintain tidiness and organization of general office areas (breakroom, print room, supply room, conference rooms, lobby)

  • Manage building lobby and JMT office access process (access codes and key cards)

  • Be primary contact with the building management office

  • Maintain breakroom supplies inventory, small appliances and coffee station

  • Maintain print room - clean and organize as needed, monitor inventory of office supplies, copy paper and printer cartridges, and replace as needed

    Coordination with outside vendors

  • Order meals for training sessions, meetings, and other events

  • Coordinate office events such as awards banquets and holiday parties

  • Manage vendors that support the office including breakroom supplies, office security, reproduction/print room, plant maintenance, offsite storage, etc. Review and process invoices from vendors.

    Additional Duties

  • Manage new employee on boarding process

  • Oversee career fair process including scheduling with university and coordinating attendees/materials

  • Manage the contract execution process

  • Manage the subcontract process

  • Expense Reports for Office Leader and Section Heads

  • Assist with administrative tasks on various projects

Position Summary: Responsible for proposal/pursuit coordination and marketing efforts for assigned region. U.S. Residency Required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the coordination, preparation, and review of various proposal and marketing-related submissions, including standard government form proposals (SF 330), qualification packages, technical proposals, presentations, client prequalifications, etc.

    • Coordinate all phases of the pursuit process from kick-off meeting to production and delivery and proposal closeout

  • Research websites, and other business publications in search of project opportunities for professional services. When opportunities are found, enter data for these opportunities into marketing database (CRM), tracking leads and associated go/no go decisions, and wins or losses

  • Update, maintain, and produce marketing materials including resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, subconsultant information, etc.

  • Work closely and interact with technical staff, administrative staff, and marketing staff in other offices, as well as outside vendors, subconsultants, and clients

  • Gather information, conduct market research about prospects/clients/projects, and participate in the development of various business collateral to support continued strategic growth

  • Efficiently manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, keeping a commitment to delivering exceptional quality deliverables

    Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.

A career-minded Highway engineer, looking towards advancement, is needed to join JMT's Highways Team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The selected candidate will become part of an established team of engineers working on exciting, high profile, complex, and impactful transportation projects. They will be responsible for engineering design using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments with limited supervision. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Design and Oversee plans, estimates and specifications for compliance with FDOT, Florida's Turnpike, and other county guidelines and standards

  • Develop construction documents including all aspects of highway and site design (geometrics, details, ADA criteria, roadway profiles, utility design and coordination, pavement markings, and maintenance and protection of traffic, signage)

  • Perform design computations

  • Manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines

  • Prepare proposals as required

  • Attend meetings with clients

  • Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

Required SkillsRequired Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program

  • 4-10 years' experience in specialized discipline

  • EIT license

  • Proficient in Bentley MicroStation and InRoads

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Written and communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Professional Engineer License

  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D

  • Proficient with Bentley OpenRoads Designer

  • Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
