JMT's Newark, DE Administration Team is seeking an Administrative Assistant to be responsible for office administration tasks. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity.

General Administration
Review and edit various documents. Support office staff with document formatting.
Create general communication/correspondence.
Organize documents
Schedule monthly Office Meetings, coordinate presenters and prepare draft agenda
Copy, bind documents to create reports
Process incoming/outgoing mail
Answer and transfer incoming calls
Office Space
Maintain tidiness and organization of general office areas (breakroom, print room, supply room, conference rooms, lobby)
Manage building lobby and JMT office access process (access codes and key cards)
Be primary contact with the building management office
Maintain breakroom supplies inventory, small appliances and coffee station
Maintain print room - clean and organize as needed, monitor inventory of office supplies, copy paper and printer cartridges, and replace as needed
Coordination with outside vendors
Order meals for training sessions, meetings, and other events
Coordinate office events such as awards banquets and holiday parties
Manage vendors that support the office including breakroom supplies, office security, reproduction/print room, plant maintenance, offsite storage, etc. Review and process invoices from vendors.
Additional Duties
Manage new employee on boarding process
Oversee career fair process including scheduling with university and coordinating attendees/materials
Manage the contract execution process

Position Summary: Responsible for proposal/pursuit coordination and marketing efforts for assigned region. U.S. Residency Required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the coordination, preparation, and review of various proposal and marketing-related submissions, including standard government form proposals (SF 330), qualification packages, technical proposals, presentations, client prequalifications, etc.
Develop pursuit outlines
Participate in pre-proposal meetings, kick-off meetings, debriefings, etc.
Prepare major sections of pursuits, including but not limited to, project descriptions and resumes, tailored for specific pursuit. Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop other pursuit content
Coordinate pursuit production (typing, graphics, editing, and reproduction), printing and delivery, with emphasis on quality assurance/quality control
Assist with presentation preparation, presentation materials, etc.
Produce consistently compliant high-quality submissions while delivering exceptional customer service
Research websites, and other business publications in search of project opportunities for professional services. When opportunities are found, enter data for these opportunities into marketing database (CRM), tracking leads and associated go/no go decisions, and wins or losses

A working knowledge of Federal, State and local jurisdiction permitting regulations

Possess a Professional Engineering License or have the ability to acquire a license through reciprocity within six months of employment
A passing grade on the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred

Position summary: A career-minded Water/Wastewater engineer, looking towards advancement, is needed to join JMT's fast growing Water/Wastewater consultant engineering practice. Employee will plan and lead engineering tasks and projects in the water/wastewater field through working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes; manage multiple design projects, manage preparation and updating of project schedules; develop, analyze and document critical design elements; coordinate the efforts of a design team to determine requirements and incorporate feedback. Design responsibilities and project management
Work closely with a design team to develop construction plans and specifications for various design projects
Perform design computations
Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines
Develop construction cost estimates
Developing scopes of work, developing conceptual designs and preliminary engineering studies, conceiving and implementing field investigation programs, sub-contractor management, as well as coordination of design disciplines in final design projects
Construction phase engineering services
Flexibility to support time-critical report development and production to meet demanding schedules
Coordination with clients, contractors, outside consultants, government agencies and firm staff
Some business development activities such as proposal writing and project interviews

Candidates should have a firm grasp of general heavy construction principles; environmental facilities operations-related experience is considered a plus

Candidate should be able to present technical writing product to internal team
Strong computer skills are required: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, and MS Project are a plus
Required Experience
5-10 Years' Experience
A bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
A working knowledge of Federal, State and local jurisdiction permitting regulations

Possess a Professional Engineering License in the state of Virginia or have the ability to acquire a license through reciprocity within six months of employment
A passing grade on the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred

Previous experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities is necessary; experience with specifying other mechanical systems such as industrial systems and/or fire protection is a plus
Project management experience for small to medium sized projects a plus, but not required
Construction administration experience, or working knowledge of installation and/or maintenance of mechanical systems, would be helpful
Commissioning certification and/or experience is a plus
PE license required

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Development of schematic design and PS&E in Texas
Perform alternative studies
Organize and coordinate design elements with teaming partners
Analyze survey data, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
Perform design computations
Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software MicroStation, Geopak, or ORD
Develop construction cost estimates
Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality
Support other teams when needed to accomplish company milestones

Experience with design and development of cross sections, and/or 3D models
Experience with utilizing the TMUTCD to develop traffic control plans, and signing and marking layouts
Experience with design and preparation of SW3P plans
Experience generating plans, specifications, and estimates for highway/roadway projects for TxDOT and other government agencies
Experience with local clients at the county and state level
