Overview

To provide a variety of administrative support functions within respective Collection unit(s), in support of daily operations. Under supervision, follow processes and procedures to accomplish routine tasks. Receive and respond to inquiries from internal/external sources and/or members to ensure effective, timely and accurate service.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and field direct Collection phone calls.

  • Collect, maintain and distribute reports, correspondence, online messages and faxes.

  • Act as liaison between Collection business units in support of operational initiatives.

  • Track and update action items in database(s).

  • Complete data entry in automated systems.

  • Maintain hard copy and/or computer based files and records.

  • Operate and maintain vendor check equipment.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures regarding handling of financial documents, member info, and physical security.

  • Coordinate and complete specific loan adjustment sequences with the Collections' Loan Specialists.

  • Participate in projects, including testing of new systems.

  • Research for management, which includes simple data gathering and analysis.

  • Retrieve and direct after hour voice mail messages for the Collections Division.

  • Maintain and stock essential materials and supplies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Penetration Tester - Navy Federal Credit Union

Overview

To perform penetration testing against systems across NFCU in order to identify weaknesses and provide guidance on remediation and prevention. Conduct application, network, wireless, and mobile assessments as well as lead red team campaigns. Assess a wide variety of critical systems and applications to discover exploitable risks to the credit union and improve the risk posture of the organization. Provide findings and remediation guidance to relevant teams and serve as subject matter expert to help engineering teams understand findings and successfully manage risk. Work is performed under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage penetration tests from inception through delivery to include:

  • Scoping assessments and establishing rules of engagement

  • Designing penetration tests for systems and applications using established assessment frameworks; account for common and unique application and system considerations

  • Sourcing and leveraging information such as source code, architecture diagrams, etc. to enhance assessment coverage

  • Coordinating & scheduling testing with engineering teams across the enterprise

  • Effectively managing relationships and communicating with engineering teams before, during, and after testing

  • Acting as subject matter expert with engineering teams when communicating results, preventative measures, remediation steps, and other security related information

  • Acting as a technical lead for multi-resource engagements

  • Identify and prescribe remediation for vulnerabilities in NFCU applications, systems, and networks

  • Leverage complex tactics including, but not limited to, lateral movement, network tunneling/pivoting, credential compromise, and hash cracking

  • Lead red team exercises with a focus on stealth, long campaigns, social engineering, and realistic threats

  • Enhance testing by identifying novel attack patterns against NFCU systems and applications based on real-world data

  • Perform attacks consistent with common threats (e.g OWASP top 10) as well as uncommonly observed attacks specific to certain technologies and frameworks

  • Research and develop exploits for local and remote targets

  • Craft proofs of concept as well as deployable exploits for both public and novel vulnerabilities

  • Create and automate custom fuzzing leveraging techniques relevant to NFCU technologies

  • Develop custom scripts (Nuclei, Python, etc) to check for security requirements specific to individual applications

  • Communicate complex technical risks concisely to non-technical and executive audiences

  • Effectively employ OpSec best practices to minimize distribution of vulnerability data

  • Mentor and support more junior staff across the security organization

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience

- Advanced hands on experience in the field of cybersecurity and/or application security, with hands-on penetration testing or red teaming as the primary/exclusive role

- Advanced knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and/or CAPEC Frameworks

- Experience testing against Active Directory environments

- Experience testing against both Linux based and Windows based systems

- Experience developing custom malware and evading EDR solutions

- Experience coding in languages and on frameworks such as: Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Java, C#, C++, Springboot, React, NodeJS

- Advanced networking knowledge spanning: IPv4/6, DNS, TCP/UDP, TLS/SSL, SSH, HTTP, SOCKS

- Advanced knowledge of modern cryptographic hashing & encryption methods and best practices

- Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills

- Advanced communication, presentation and analytical skills

Desired Qualifications:

Overview

TRANSITIONING SERVICE MEMBERS ONLY AS PART OF THE DOD SKILLBRIDGE PROGRAM

To offer eligible Service Members currently approved to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program the opportunity to gain first-hand experience and insight into Navy Federal's business, technology, resources, and procedures by providing support in focused areas, applying knowledge and education. Participate in a collaborative, team driven network, and interact with multiple departments. Utilize and further develop technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques, and creative problem-solving abilities. Provide professional execution of day-to-day tasks and special projects while working within established standards, policies, and procedures.

To protect, preserve, and safeguard the employees, members, and physical assets at all Navy Federal locations. Perform basic/routine tasks and solving a variety of moderately complex problems.

Responsibilities

- Conduct security patrols of assigned Navy Federal facilities and site perimeters to assure worker safety, protection of site assets and to identify and report safety hazards and malfunctioning equipment

- Respond to medical emergency calls; contact police, fire and rescue as required; establish staging areas for first responders

- Organize evacuations during hazardous weather conditions or disaster situations; coordinate with facilities management as needed for assistance

- Conduct investigations and enter information into the security reporting system

- May be required to staff the Security Monitoring Center, including operating and monitoring the Avigilon camera system, building access control system and documenting unusual activities

- May be required to monitor facility equipment condition boards (e.g., HVAC, elevator, etc.) and report equipment malfunctions

- Respond to Branch alarms and access violations; notify Branch Manager, VP/Manager of Security or police as required

- Perform traffic control functions (e.g., directing and managing traffic, etc.)

To assist in the support of the Board of Directors and Volunteer Officials and to assist as needed in providing support to the President, COO, and Chief of Staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with executive conference attendance logistics for Navy Federal's volunteer officials and senior management to include coordinating travel arrangements, preparing travel authorizations, registering attendees, providing geographical information to attendees, and reviewing/creating expense reports

  • Coordinate, track, and communicate Board Member/Volunteer Official reimbursements for travel, including board meetings, conferences, committee meetings

To perform complex cost accounting and management reporting for Navy Federal business unit products and services, and to contribute to the formulation of department business strategy by planning and conducting the annual financial planning (AFP) and midyear update processes. To support the optimization of business operations (money, materials, and people) by analyzing current product and budget performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and studies financial data synthesized from the Activity Based Costing (ABC) system and other information sources in support of other cost analyses.

  • Leads the design, analysis, and preparation of complex customized reports that provide actual Net Income and Return On Asset results for Department Products and Services

  • Provides operational cost information to department business analysts in support of their analyses, and guidance regarding the use of ABC tools and models

  • Synthesizes results of analyses of ABC processes, model changes, and the impact of business decisions; develops recommendations and presents results to management

  • Collaborates with management to identify, recommend and facilitate implementation of new or enhanced ABC processes, reporting, and costing methodology

  • Plans and conducts the department AFP and midyear update processes.

  • Leads the design, analysis, and preparation of complex customized reports that influence senior department management decisions regarding prioritizing the organization's financial resources

  • Establishes procedures to ensure accurate and complete compilation of AFP submittals

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation/graphics application

  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance and as part of a team, and experience with guiding and mentoring others

  • Ability to work in a changing environment and assess the impact of changes on objectives and to rapidly shift priorities as circumstances change

  • Extensive experience and proficiency with data querying, reporting and forecasting including demonstrated skill using automated cost accounting/planning/budgeting systems

  • Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills including the ability to clearly present findings and alternatives to influence management decision making

  • Analyzes and evaluates existing information security programs and procedures to protect corporate information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction.

Overview

To evaluate and underwrite business loan applications. To oversee and collect pertinent supporting underwriting information to ensure the completion of all necessary financial analysis. To present loan packages beyond approval authority to senior management, as well as assisting with the closing of business loans and monitoring subsequent financial information of Navy Federal business loan borrowers according to specific state and federal requirements to limit risk exposure to Navy Federal's business portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes business loan applicants' financial status, credit, and business to determine feasibility of granting credit including loan approval

  • Works closely with development team/business member to ensure all appropriate data is obtained reviews and analyzes loan applications to ensure that necessary documents have been received and validates the integrity of the data

  • Determines credit-worthiness of the borrower by performing qualitative/quantitative analysis such as review of financial statements, credit reports, and applicable ratios (e.g., Debt to Income (DTI), Loan to Value (LTV), etc.) using established guidelines of NFCU, industry best practices and applicable state and governmental regulations

  • Proposes/determines the appropriate deal structure commensurate with the associated risk level on approved business credit deals, including appropriate financial, operational or capital/cash covenants

  • Analyzes counter offers, exceptions and rejections and recommends alternative business products better suited to the business loan applicant

  • Presents business loan package and loan recommendation, in a consultative process, to senior business lending management for loans above approval authority

  • Reviews and evaluates business annual financial statements/tax returns to ensure adherence to NFCU, BA and relevant industry practices/requirements

  • Analyzes tax statements independent of business scoring systems to confirm business viability

  • Assesses risk of credit deals and business failing by assigning a rating and recommending any necessary action to mitigate credit union risk

  • Approves or declines business loan submissions within assigned authority

  • Approves business loans and authorizes loan disbursements based on a complete analysis of submitted documentation and applicable rules and regulations, in accordance with NFCU Business Lending policies and procedures

  • Prepares adverse action (loan disapproval) notifications on behalf of the Business Lending Committee in recognition of the compliance provisions of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B)

  • Supports Business Loan Underwriting functions

  • Monitors Business Underwriting activities and respond to questions submitted via telephone, instant messages or through the mail

To perform penetration testing against systems across NFCU in order to identify weaknesses and provide guidance on remediation and prevention. Overview

To perform penetration testing against systems across NFCU in order to identify weaknesses and provide guidance on remediation and prevention. Conduct application, network, wireless, and mobile assessments as well as lead red team campaigns. Assess a wide variety of critical systems and applications to discover exploitable risks to the credit union and improve the risk posture of the organization.   • Independently manage penetration tests from inception through delivery to include:

  • Scoping assessments and establishing rules of engagement

Overview

Provide independent data science, machine learning, and analytical insights using member, financial, and organizational data to support mission critical decision making for various areas of the organization. Understand business needs and identify opportunities for new products, services, and process optimization to meet business objectives through the use of cutting-edge data science. Create descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models and insights to drive impact across the organization. Regarded as an advanced professional in the data science field. Conduct complex work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment. Mentor lower level staff.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and evaluate large and complex models and advanced algorithms, with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) development

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience with requisite competencies

  • Complete knowledge and full understanding of specialization

  • Statistics, machine learning , data mining, data auditing, aggregation, reconciliation, and visualization

  • Programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics

  • SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Scala, AWS

  • Experience working with cloud-based data analytics platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Azure)

  • Experience working with distributed processing frameworks like Spark, Pyspark, etc.

  • Exposure to working with call center data, messaging data, chat data, and survey data in the context of customer/member communications and feedback

  • Experience with Hugging Face models for NLP type tasks

  • Experience with executing NLP tasks using language models (including LLMs)

Overview

To research, evaluate, design, test, implement, and maintain HR cloud systems and product solutions, applying rapid, innovative knowledge of cloud principles. Assist with planning, designing, developing, and testing cloud software systems/applications, and analyzing new capabilities and functionality for improving cloud adoption and modeling to find rapid product insights and business solutions. To analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage systems and processes with a considerable degree of latitude. Works with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new functionality. Using advanced knowledge of the organization's technology infrastructure and specific software applications assist the business to implement strategic vision through technology. Considered a stakeholder/contributor on complex systems projects and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategy, subject matter business/technical expertise and solution development for HR Cloud applications and lead the day-to-day production support activities of Oracle Cloud HCM workstreams i.e. Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learn, Talent and Performance Management

  • Align the product short/long term roadmap and features with Oracle's new release cycles, business enhancements and production break-fix solutions

  • Identifies any enabler capabilities and features and remove architectural gaps and impediments

  • Support the implementation, integration and on-going support of Human Capital Management system (Oracle HCM Cloud Platforms) to assure stability and performance of the products and platforms across production and nonproduction environments
