Job Description

Overview

The Truck Driver Light will address customer needs, pick up and deliver parts for city sites, and assist with inventory control.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:- Attention to detail- Meet and greet customers- Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)- Answer questions regarding availability of parts- Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and provided- Inform customers when requested parts are available- Operate a forklift- Review, familiarize with, and MANCON's SOPs and Safety Manual.Parts Pick up- Drive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up parts- Provide company documentation to vendors as required (tax exempt form, credit references)- Review all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy on pricing and quantities- Return products to MANCON location in a timely fashionData Entry Requirements- Assist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory system- Assist in entry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory systemInventory Management Requirements- Assist in physically receiving vendor orders- Assist in performing weekly inventory cycle counts- Assist in performing counts during Wall to Wall inventories at siteOther Requirements- Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance- Provide 24 hour support at the city location during emergencies- Assist with inventory research projects as requested- Adhere to required procedures- Assist Store Supervisor as assigned- Participate in the SCM continuing training program

Job Description

Overview

The District Manager is the daily primary point of contact for the VDOT District Supply Program Manager (DSPM) and will be responsible to VDOT for providing customer support throughout the District in accordance with the SLA. The District Manager will coordinate overtime requests made through the DSPM to ensure that all ISSP locations are properly supported during VDOT emergency operations. The District Manager is responsible for hiring qualified candidates, correcting employee deficiencies, enforcing the employee training program, and dismissing underperforming or non-compliant employees. Travel to complete assigned functions will occur both overnight and during weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following;

  • Work with VDOT District Supply Program Manager (DSPM) and VDOT District Asset and Inventory Manager (DAIM) in administration of contract.

  • Meet with DSPM and DAIM to assess problems and concerns.

  • Meet with shop and district personnel to assess problems and concerns.

  • Work in conjunction with all MANCON locations to assist in parts availability, parts information and request of items thru transfer process.

  • Review, familiarize with and adhere to Product Group Catalog.

  • Review, familiarize with and adhere to Policy and Procedures Manual.

  • Review, familiarize with and adhere to MANCON's SOPs, Manager Manual, and Safety Manual.

  • Research parts procurement utilizing websites, publications, and equipment manuals.

  • Provide past sales research as requested.

  • Contact vendors for pricing and placement of orders.

  • Answer questions regarding availability of parts.

  • Work with customers to ensure correct items are being procured when necessary.

  • Answer all messages phone\e-mail in a timely fashion.

  • Assist in reviewing all requisition forms to ensure they meet P&P requirements.

  • Monitor and analyze Service Level Reports.

  • Monitor purchases at all sites for compliance of Product Group Catalog as well as obtaining best pricing.

  • Provide training as required.

    Inventory Management

  • Review various reports to maintain accuracy and inventory levels at all locations.

  • Review and submit weekly Cyclic Counts to Contract Support Manager.

  • Perform Wall to Wall inventories at all locations and assist in other districts if necessary.

  • Research and perform inventory adjustments.

  • Review min max levels, stock sources and primary vendor requirements to maintain proper stocking levels.

  • Meet with customer representatives to discuss future requirements.

  • Review sales to ensure stocking requirements are being met.

  • Monitor processing of vendor invoices and invoicing paperwork of customer.

    Report Review

  • Utilizing the NAV system, generate and review various reports as outlined in daily, weekly and monthly guidelines.

  • Generate and review SLA failures for all locations making stocking suggestions based on min max review.

  • Produce and submit back up for credit card purchases.

  • Review weekly manager's report and take appropriate actions.

  • Ensure timely completion of all items on each supervisor's checklist

  • Review, correct and submit to DSPM for approval; the monthly reconcile difference report.

    Other Duties

  • Perform monthly site visits using established check list and report to VDOT Project Manager.

  • Review and submit timesheets to include monitoring VDOT emergency overtime.

  • Investigate and resolve personnel issues.

  • Hire and terminate in accordance with MANCON policies.

  • Provide orientation, employee requirements for VDOT and schedule training.

  • Assist with delivery and pick ups.

  • Provide 24 hour support to VDOT.

  • Investigate product complaints.

  • Supervise all district employees while monitoring all job description activities.

  • Assist with project research and provide findings.

  • Document all levels of discipline; administer discipline in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Assist VDOT store supervisors as needed.

  • Disperse all communications between MANCON corporate and district employees as directed.

  • Participate in the SCM continuing training program

  • Train forklift operators

Qualifications

  • 5 years computer experience

  • 5 years auto parts, heavy duty truck parts, warehouse or distribution experience

  • 5 years inventory experience

  • 5 years customer service experience

Overview

The Data Analyst will support MANCON's operations through data analytics projects primarily related to inventory levels, sales, and supply chain operations . These projects may monitor performance, identify trends, measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and forecast demand . The results of these projects will be communicated to internal stakeholders , suppliers, vendors, and customers . The Data Analyst will report to the Supply Chain Management Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor data interchanges to ensure timely transfers of data

  • Monitor ERP data for data anomalies, investigate its cause, and make recommendations to remedy

  • Implement data integrity rules and validations

  • Perform QA on contractually required KPI

  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations

  • Establish and maintain relationships with coworkers, customers, and vendors

  • Work with software developer s to design , test, and deploy reports , screens , dashboards, data interfaces to support and improve supply chain operations and me e t customer requirements.

Overview

MANCON is seeking an Accounting Specialist 1 with accounting knowledge and experience. This position provides support to the Accounts Payable Department.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Code vendor invoices and data entry

  • Research vendors payments

  • Match purchase orders to vendor invoices for payment

  • Filing

  • Assist in processing of weekly A/P payment batches

  • Match invoices to payments

  • Respond to vendor inquiries as needed

  • Assist A/R department as needed

  • Process month end journal entries

  • Perform general financial analysis

  • Internal auditing

  • Provide reporting data and analysis as needed to management

  • Assist in the preparation of various audits

  • Assist with special projects and analysis as needed

  • Employee Expense Reports

  • Corporate Credit Card processing

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3 years of Accounting or Finance experience

  • Excel & other Microsoft Office experience

  • Technical aptitude, high level of accuracy, organization, and detail-oriented

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team

  • Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting/Related Field

  • Generate, review and correct items identified on the PT/OP Bin check report
  • Produce and process the Reorder report
  • Generate, review and correct the No Min/Max report
  • Generate, review the Inactive Item Report. Take action on items as appropriate.
  • Produce and provide backup for all Credit Card purchases to corporate

Data Entry requirements

  • Ensure that all completed customer requisitions are properly invoiced in the inventory system
  • Ensure that all vendor receiving documents are properly entered in the inventory system
  • Ensure that all inventory transfer requests are properly entered in the inventory system
  • Generate new item numbers in the inventory system following published guidelines

Inventory Management requirements

  • Perform and report weekly inventory cycle counts

Overview

The Store Supervisor ensures the shop meets customer service, inventory management, and paperwork meets expectations while supervising store personnel.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:

  • Attention to detail

  • Meet and greet customers

  • Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (Signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)

  • Answer questions regarding availability of parts

  • Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and provided

  • If necessary, inspect equipment in the shop to assist in parts research

  • Research parts for procurement utilizing vendor/manufacturer websites, publications, equipment manuals, microfiche, etc... to ascertain the necessary parts to procure

  • Answer all messages (phone/email) in a timely fashion

  • Contact appropriate vendors for pricing and to place orders

  • Inform customers when requested parts are available

  • Contact Counter/Driver personnel to perform emergency parts pick ups, as required

  • Provide past sales research as requested, utilizing the inventory system

  • Check parts availability at all MANCON locations utilizing the inventory system

  • Contact other MANCON locations to request transfers of parts or obtain parts information.

  • Review the Product Group Catalog as required to ensure requested items are approved for purchase

  • Review, familiarize with and adhere to Product Group Catalog

  • Review, familiarize with and adhere to Policy and Procedures Manual

  • Review, familiarize with and adhere to MANCON's SOPs, Supervisor Manual, and Safety Manual

    Produce and review required reports

  • Ensure timely completion of all items on the supervisor's checklist.

  • Generate, distribute, copy and file all invoices for material issued to VDOT.

  • Produce the daily Ticket Summary report and attach copies of all invoices and submit to VDOT

  • Generate the Flat File Fix report. Review and correct identified errors in the inventory system

  • Generate and review the SLA Failure Item Detail Report. Review all items that failed to determine if changes to stocking levels are required, based on the past 12 months of sales history

  • Generate, review and correct items identified on the PT/OP Bin check report

  • Produce and process the Reorder report

  • Generate, review and correct the No Min/Max report

  • Generate, review the Inactive Item Report. Take action on items as appropriate.

  • Pull and provide copies of Vendor Invoices as requested to meet VDOT's Quarterly Compliance review

  • Produce and provide backup for all Credit Card purchases to corporate

    Data Entry requirements

  • Ensure that all completed customer requisitions are properly invoiced in the inventory system

  • Ensure that all vendor receiving documents are properly entered in the inventory system

  • Ensure that all inventory transfer requests are properly entered in the inventory system

  • Generate new item numbers in the inventory system following published guidelines

    Inventory Management requirements

  • Perform and report weekly inventory cycle counts

  • Perform system research on all cycle count discrepancies

  • Monitor and review inventory Bin assignments to ensure accuracy

  • Review items sales history to ensure proper Stock Sources are set

  • Meet with VDOT representatives to discuss future requirements in regards to stocking levels

  • Process Transfer requests from other MANCON locations

  • Perform Wall to Wall inventory at site, when notified, following established procedures

    Other Requirements

  • Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance

  • Provide 24 hour support at the VDOT location during emergencies

  • Travel to locations to pick up parts

  • Train forklift operators

  • Assist with inventory research projects as requested

  • Participate in the SCM continuing training program

  • Supervise assigned store personnel.

Qualifications

  • 1 year computer experience

  • 5 years auto or heavy duty truck parts experience

  • 1 year inventory experience

  • 1 year customer service experience

  • 24-hour availability

  • Valid driver's license with 2 years driving experience

  • Obtain and maintain forklift trainer certificate

  • Obtain and maintain P1 or P2 ASE Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Delivery Driver experience

  • Supervisory experience
