Job Description

Provides direct support to organizations and their employees through the delivery of assessment, consultation, education and triage services. Uses knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations in their appropriate handling of employee concerns and problems. This position services as an expert technical and industry resource to management, clients and development staff in new uses of information technology in all phases of major system and subsystem development. Job Description

This position is in support of schools affiliated with NAS Meridian . Candidates must be local to NAS Meridian or willing to relocate to become local and be licensed at the independent level in the state of Mississippias a Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Therapist (LMFT), or Social Worker (LCRSW).

This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations and off military installations. These services may include non-medical counseling, training/ health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel, schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB School counselors will be assigned to Department of Defense (DoDEA) schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for school position. CYB School counselors will also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation and the schools.

  • Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused, counseling directly to children and youth of service members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.

  • CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of DoDEA and community schools, and summer camps as well as providing parent training and guidance.

  • Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participates in health fairs and other base/installation activities focused on children and youth.

  • Enters counselor activity data on a daily basis through smart phone, or web application, to assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service/family member.

  • Creates a presence in the school; is available to children, youth, and staff. When working with children, the counselor must abide by line of sight protocol (another adult with responsibility for the child must be able to see the counselor and child they are working with at all times).

  • Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources focused on children and youth and provides appropriate linkages.

  • Partners with POC to provide CYB services in a manner that addresses the needs of the installation/facility. Develops an effective and professional working relationship with the installation/facility POC.

  • Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to DoD protocol and staffs the cases with Regional Supervisor/Regional Director.

  • Communicates with Regional Supervisor and participates in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information regarding trends and issues on the installations and in facilities to which they are assigned.

  • Responds to critical incidents and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) program manager. The CYB will flex schedule to respond to urgent requests as needed.

  • Participates in regular in-services/training, Quality Improvement committees or other contract activities as assigned/appropriate.

These positions are in support for Fort Benning working on base with military members and their families or in local schools with high populations of military families attending or on base with adults Candidates must be local to Fort Benning or be willing to become local and licensed at the independent level in Georgia as a Social Worker (LCSW), Therapist (LMFT), or Mental Health Counselor (LPC).

The On-Call/Substitute MFLC Counselor, will provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs such as a post-deployment event or to cover an existing assignment for counselors who are absent. The Summer On-Call counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break. With minimal guidance and oversight, provides the full breadth of Adult or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. On call CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for on call role in backing up a school position. CYB counselors may also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. On call adult counselors may be assigned to support MFLC services in a variety of military community and readiness centers, as well as on-demand and surge assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.

In this position you will work in a School role as a Military Child Therapist for full time or part time. Health Guide- Community Transition Team - R00000049374 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:In this position, the Community Transition Team staff are dedicated to Lehigh and Northampton members to provide member support on securing aftercare supports following a 24 hour level of care admission. Will require some in person supports to providers, members, and Emergency department/crisis centers to assist in discharge planning. Provides ongoing, community-based support for an assigned caseload of health plan enrollees to improve access to care and care coordination. Establishes a relationship with the enrollee, the care coordination team, and providers. Conducts new enrollee outreach and orientation, arranges appointments and transportation as needed. Assists the enrollee in learning to navigate the health care delivery system, community resources, transportation, and effectively use health plan benefits. * Conducts outreach and orientation for new enrollees. Job Description

This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations and off military installations. These services may include non-medical counseling, training/ health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel, schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB School counselors will be assigned to Department of Defense (DoDEA) schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for school position. CYB School counselors will also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation and the schools.

  • Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused, counseling directly to children and youth of service members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.

  • CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of DoDEA and community schools, and summer camps as well as providing parent training and guidance.

  • Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participates in health fairs and other base/installation activities focused on children and youth.

Job Description

Currently we are recruiting for Adult Military therapist, Child Youth Behavioral Counselor to work in the Child Development Centers and school counselors. Both Full and Part time opportunities may be available. You must hold a Kentucky KY or Tennessee TN independent license such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Counselor Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) and be local to the installation. Relocation assistance may be available.

Primary responsibility to provide the full breadth of MFLC (Military Family Life Counseling) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. Services include non- medical, short-term, walk-around counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, provision of health fairs, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues. Works closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.

  • Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused, walk-around counseling directly to service and family members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.

  • Delivers training and health and wellness presentations, participates in health fairs and other base/installation activities as requested/directed.

  • Enters counselor activity data on a daily basis through smart phone, or web application, to assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation, while maintaining client/service member confidentiality.

  • Creates a presence on the installation in which the service and family members feel comfortable approaching the counselor and recognize the program to be confidential. Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources and provides appropriate linkages for service members and their families. Partners with POC to provide MFLC services in a manner that addresses the needs of the installation. Develops an effective and professional working relationship with the installation POC.

  • Provides MFLC response to critical incidents, surge and on demand events, and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) program manager. Counselor will flex schedule to respond to urgent requests as needed.

  • Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to Department of Defense (DoD) protocol and staffs the cases with Regional Supervisor/Regional Director.

  • Communicates with Regional Supervisors and participates in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information regarding trends and issues on the installations to which the counselor is assigned.

  • Participates in regular in-services/training, Quality Improvement committees or other contract activities as assigned/appropriate.

Job Description

Candidate must hold a independent license in the state you are practicing such as LPC Licensed Professional Counselor, LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker or LMFT Licensed Marriage and Family Life Counselor.

The On-Call/Substitute MFLC Counselor, will provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs such as a post-deployment event or to cover an existing assignment for counselors who are absent. The Summer On-Call counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break. With minimal guidance and oversight, provides the full breadth of Adult or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. On call CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for on call role in backing up a school position. CYB counselors may also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. On call adult counselors may be assigned to support MFLC services in a variety of military community and readiness centers, as well as on-demand and surge assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.

  • Provides non-medical, short term, solution focused, counseling directly to adults, children, and youth of service members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.

  • CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of CDCs, DoDEA and community schools, youth programs and summer camps as well as providing parent training and guidance.

  • Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities.

  • Enters counselor activity data daily through smart phone or web application assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service / family member.
