Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
Bachelors' degree in a life science or laboratory science/Medical Technology
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred
Must be ASCP certified as a Medical Technologist
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus
High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Requirements:

Must be ASCP certified as a Medical Lab Technician
Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficient with computers;
Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen

Experience with automated instrumentation and manual testing in hematology, chemistry, and/ or microbiology desirable.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
Previous experience as a phlebotomist
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Performs a variety of duties related to receiving, distributing, storing, dispensing, inventory control and/or shipping in a safe and efficient manner, following Purchase order, P-Card or other internal instructions and applicable state and federal regulations.
Loads and unloads freight in a safe manner. Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Makes certain all equipment needed for handling and moving of goods is available and in safe working condition.
Verifies contents of material received under purchase orders.
Reports shortages, damages, and incorrect shipments on appropriate forms and to designated personnel.
Using internal computer systems, enters purchase order, sample, and/or inventory receipts, performs inquiries and prints appropriate paperwork. Prepares logs for P-Card, Internet order and Freight receipts. Enters requisitions for select items based on inventory.
Delivers materials or samples to proper locations.
Ensures proper rotation and organization of stock and participates in physical inventories. Traces problems related to discrepancies and works with Buyer/RCP's to resolve.
Confirms internal stock requisitions, pick requested items, ensuring that the correct number and types of product are picked and delivered.
Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse area. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Performs all routine and non-routine activities in mail room (e.g., prepares manifests for local delivery service, process bulk or large volume mailings, receives, sorts and delivers internal mail, weighs and prepares outgoing mail, operates postal meter machine).
Assists with preparing document and dangerous goods shipments (e.g., package, secure container for shipment, affix appropriate label, and complete required documentation using shipping software). Assists in the preparation of and applies for necessary shipping permits.
Accurately maintains records in area of responsibility (e.g., receiving, shipping, picking, mail, controlled substances) and forwards to designated personnel as specified.
Provides information to internal customers about related departmental policies and SOPs.
Understands cost factors and makes suggestions for cost-effective alternatives.
Works closely with internal personnel to maintain understanding of controlled substance handling and effectively controls the materials and records to meet all legal, regulatory and company requirements.
Manages time and tasks independently while working under minimal supervision
Recognizes unusual situations and acts if solution is within scope of ability or notifies supervisor/designee.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Consistent exposure to temperature, dust, noise, and the like.
Requires working with frequent interruptions and changes.
Ability to respond to alarm alerts when scheduled.
Education and Qualifications, required
High school graduate or equivalent required
2-3 years continuous work history with previous receiving and customer service experience within a distribution or warehouse environment.
Verifiable past training and experience of operating forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks skillfully and safely.
Professional certifications: receive and maintain DOT/IATA training certification, preferred.
Incumbent should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Personal computer skills are required, with some experience in spreadsheet development, preferred.
Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds routinely.
Preferred
Work experience using Bar Code/ Inventory Control Tracking equipment.

The Toxicology department consists of 4 sub departments: Toxicology, Biological Monitoring, Blood Lead and Mass Spectrometry. These have a combined volume of approximately 500,00 tests a month. Our toxicology tests are primarily focused on therapeutic drug monitoring, our biological monitoring tests focus on metal or chemical exposures and our mass spec department is our most rapidly growing area and encompasses testing from several disciplines from toxicology to endocrinology.
The Toxicology department offers experience with many types of analytical instrumentation such as GC, GC/MS, HPLC, ICP/MS and LC/MS/MS as well as with automated and manual systems of sample preparation. Position is in the LC/MS Data Review/Operator Section of Toxicology. Position will be responsible for reviewing and certifying LC/MS data utilizing Analyst and Ascent software. The position will be responsible for the verification of the calibration, quality controls, and patient data up to and including result entry. Performs minor troubleshooting/repair and instrument prep of LC/MS systems as needed.
The work schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
At least 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Labcorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in our Revenue Cycle Management Division! This Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for posting AR and electronic remittance from private and government payers into the billing system. Posting electronically requires multiple reports, macros and tools to balance files to money received.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process/post AR from all assigned payers within the expected Turnaround Time (TAT)
Includes using macros and other computer based tools and multiple systems
Research payer websites to obtain posting backup as needed
Identify issues and trends with assigned payers
Ensure aged AR is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of remittance
Remain flexible to everchanging priorities
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.required
Minimum one yr work experience
Previous accounts receivable, billing, office administration, data entry work experience strongly preferred

Position Summary
The Study Director is an individual contributor who is responsible for managing the design, conduct and reporting of non-regulated vaccine immunogenicity and efficacy studies to meet scientific and client requirements. They coordinate efforts of the study team, lead the interpretation, analysis, documentation, and reporting of results which includes productive interactions with management, technical staff, global internal and external clients, and study direction staff.

Previous data interpretation and report writing experience.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent years of experience, Master's preferred.

Essential Duties:
Serve as a Study Director on vaccine immunogenicity and efficacy study designs as determined appropriate by management.
Coordinates efforts of the study team.
Ensures that selected study plan/protocols, including any changes, are scientifically robust (with management/senior scientist input as needed), approved by the client, and are in compliance with the appropriate SOPs, and animal welfare guidelines.
Monitors progress and status of assigned studies with direction from mentor/management/senior scientists. Ensures that all experimental data, including observations of unanticipated responses to the test system, are accurately recorded, and verified.
Provides excellent customer care to both internal and external clients, including timely production of high-quality protocols, compiled study progress updates, reports, and other client deliverables.
Liaises with sponsors and other customers in a timely and professional manner on study related matters, with some direction from senior scientists.
Learns to review cost estimates to ensure that all protocol/amendment driven work scope specifications have been included in the price estimation.
Participates in and may host client visits.
Evaluate and interpret nonclinical data with minimal support.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually (USD)

What to Expect

Maintains responsibility for warehouse pick rates, pick errors and accuracy
Maintains all product returns, cancelled orders and ensures items are returned to stock in a timely manner
Ensures complete physical cycle count of assigned areas quarterly
Accountable for accurate inventory data, proper transactional timing (i.e., receipts and usage data is processed each day.), and report inventory variances to management
Assists in maintaining an inventory rotation and first in first out procedure
Prioritizes daily tasks and special projects within inventory scope as directed by manager
Assists in the development, maintenance and update of departmental procedures and departmental training files as needed
Optimizes organization of the assigned inventory area and controls to ensure accurate inventory is maintained
Assists all internal customers with help in answering any questions pertaining to stock items
Ability to expedite transportation arrangements for deliveries and/ or pick-ups
Adheres to establishes SOPs and Universal Precaution guidelines at all times
Ability to requisition needed stock items
Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse area. Complies with OSHA and MSDS standards
Assists in all necessary steps pertaining to freight claims, damaged shipments and return item authorizations as applicable to inventory stock
Maintains documentation for determining maximum and minimum stocking levels and order amounts.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Working Environment:
Consistent exposure to temperature, dust, noise, and the like.
Requires working with frequent interruptions and changes.
Ability to respond to alarm alerts when scheduled.
May involve some overtime and weekend hours as needed
Associate will be exposed to hazardous materials such as dry ice and controlled radiation testing materials
Education and Qualification(s), required
High school graduate or equivalent required
Valid driver's license
1-3 years' experience directly applicable experience
Associate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Personal computer skills are required with some experience in spreadsheet development.
Must be able to lift seventy- (70) pounds routinely.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Experience in: Shipping, receiving, inventory management or delivery
