. Comfortable working under minimal supervision
. Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
. Flexibility to work overtime as needed
. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

The Inside Sales team is responsible for exceeding growth target by acquiring new business through prospecting and nurturing of new business.
Internship Assignment Summary:
. Support use of prospecting tools to support prospecting efforts
. Develop Social Selling techniques and tools to reach clients through digital channels sharing information including Labcorp services, web conferences, industry meetings, etc.
. Develop sales cadences for client outreach
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
. Working towards bachelor's degree in Science and/or Business-related field
. Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Specimen Accessioning team in San Antonio, TX. The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 1:30 am, with daily overtime as needed and rotating Saturdays.
Job Duties/Responsibilities :
Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing
Open specimens and pour off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing
Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted
Data entry of patient information into the computer system for tracking purposes
Meet key production metrics and quality measures to ensure timely and accurate results
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities when required
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
Resolve and document any problem specimens
Handle and dispose of medical and chemical waste
Comply with applicable environmental health and safety policies and procedures
Operate automated instrumentation under supervision if necessary
Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent
No relevant experience is required
Previous medical or production experience is preferred but not required
Proficient computer and typing skills
Must pass standardized color vision test
Comfortable handling human biological specimens including blood, urine and tissue samples
Ability to lift up to 30lbs, work in protective equipment and sit/stand for long periods of time
Strong eye hand coordination in order to accurately identify specimens by touch and sight
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
High level of attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

The schedule for this position will be a First Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance

The Esoterix division at LabCorp is seeking a Technician to join their team in Calabasas, CA! Esoterix provides esoteric testing for hospitals and physician specialists, primarily specializing in endocrinology and GI testing. Esoterix goal is to provide primer laboratory services that positively impact patient care and cost-effective medical treatment. Use automated and/or digital devices such as timers or thermometers in performing tasks
Record dates of receipt, in use, and expiration for all reagents, kits, controls, and standards used for assigned assays. Ensure material used is not expired prior to use
Perform, under direct supervision, preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment, document PM appropriately, make minor repairs and immediately contact appropriate personnel for problems requiring more complex repairs
Develop an ever-increasing understanding of laboratory medicine and the clinical significance of laboratory results
Adhere to the standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Esoterix, CLIA, CAP and other regulatory bodies
Document all activities as necessary using good documentation practices (Examples include preventative maintenance logs, instrument function checks, troubleshooting, and quality control) to ensure regulatory compliance.

About Team:
- The Research & Development department develops and validates
diagnostic and prognostics tests across the multidisciplinary enterprise
using innovative technologies.
Internship Assignment Summary:
- Perform technical and non-technical protocols in the capacity according to
established procedures
- Gain knowledge of department specific procedures and operations and
work in cross functional teams
- Generate reliable and consistent results, including analyses and critiques,
and maintain an accurate and comprehensible experimental notebook
- Attend training sessions to learn process development
- Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business
acumen and professional presence
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other related
science
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical lab, or relevant lab experience
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues
- Experience using literature/search engines/databases to pursue science

The schedule for this position is 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or a related science
CA CLS license is required (Generalist or Specialist for designated department)
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus
High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
Pay Range: $48.00- $58.00 / hour plus 10% shift differential

Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have an application for Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire
Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
