We are excited to bring on an adaptable and supportive Supervisor of our Premium & Billing team in operations supporting our Workplace Solutions organization in a remote environment.

Background Details

Over the past five years, Lincoln has developed into a market competitor in the Supplemental Health space. With the increased business and planning for the future growth, we are adding this role to support our teams as we work through the upcoming developments and expanded sales models.

As the Supervisor of Premium & Billing, you will engage with and lead a developing team of 8-10 Premium Service Representatives in a fast-paced environment. This operational team will look to you for guidance with best practices and escalations, while upholding to our SOX-governed standard procedures. Your daily interactions will allow you to provide feedback for their development as they navigate their own career journeys. You will have many opportunities to collaborate with peers and strengthen the relationships with internal and external customers; supporting our customers is why we are here!

What you'll be doing

  • You will lead the onboarding efforts for your team while providing training on systems and/or processes and procedures while ensuring the team appropriately updates logs, notes and other relevant documentation in applicable systems.

  • You will monitor and evaluate individual/team performance and take appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards. In addition, you will supervise the day-to-day operation including ensuring workloads are appropriately balanced among team members.

  • You will share technical knowledge with the team and internal stakeholders regarding billing and premium workflows and issue as well as Lincoln products, services, and applicable administrative systems.

  • You will promote and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.

  • You will collaborate with finance and internal audit to implement and manage required and necessary operational and financial risk controls. In addition, you will provide guidance to the team to perform, document and report on controls.

  • You will monitor and evaluate trends, identify opportunities and recommend processes for team to improve productivity and accuracy in premium/billing processing to enhance the customer experience. In addition, you will manage the execution of routine processes for billing, premium and vendor partners.

  • You will review, update and/or create new documentation as needed per changes in business processes.

What we're looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).

  • 3+ Years' experience in administrative and/or operational support directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role, including 1+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.

  • Effective written/verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to onboard and train new employees with limited knowledge of products, processes and systems.

  • Proven ability to lead a team through change (systems, processes, etc.).

  • Proven confidence while navigating times of ambiguity.

Nice to Have experience (Preferred):

  • Ability to work in a fast paced/production environment.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated flexibility.

  • Ability to independently make decisions with limited guidance.

The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $92,500 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.

What we're looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • 7+ Years of experience in claims and/or customer service directly related to the specific responsibilities of this role, with 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience. Ideal experience would include managing other people leaders.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as contracts, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, etc.

Nice-to-have experience (Preferred):

  • Strategic Program Management/ Project Management experience.

  • Vendor Management and/or Strategic Sourcing experience

  • Broker and Customer service delivery experience

The Role at a Glance

The Information Security Access Validation Consultant will be responsible for facilitating and modernizing the overall process to ensure appropriate management review of access to systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, databases, privileged access, and system IDs. In addition, this person will ensure Lincoln appropriately reacts to new and additional validation requests from auditors and management, as appropriate.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible to apply core knowledge obtained for the role to ensure the proper day-to-day operation of Access Validation and Security Compliance.

  • Partner with IT owners to determine access requirements for Lincoln applications, source code tools, and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms.

  • Gather access requirement information to formulate access listings for the applications, source code tools, and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms.

  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve problems during the access validation process. Includes routine problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution.

  • Coordinate requests for revocation of access with Information Security and/or business areas.

  • Provide customer service to internal customers, recognize what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to meet those needs.

  • Clearly and professionally communicate access validation requirements, processes, and respond to questions from Lincoln business, IT partners and management. Strong ability to adjust communication approach to the audience.

  • Provide support and solutions to managers as required during validation process.

  • Record accurate and pertinent information, for all validation processes, to ensure documentation tracker is consistently current.

  • Determine the priority and scope of each request to balance workload.

  • Report status of work effort to Information Security management and other business stakeholders, as appropriate, and meet agreed to timeframes.

  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external

  • Interface with internal and external auditors to respond to requests with appropriate information or documentation and provide walk throughs of processes when requested.

What we're looking for

  • 4 year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in information systems/IT, IT audit, information security, or information risk management. (Minimum Required).

  • 3+ years of experience in information systems/IT, IT audit, information security, information risk management, or enterprise privacy that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required).

  • SailPoint experience (Strongly preferred).

  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's) and Service Now.

  • General familiarity with submitting mainframe jobs.

  • Basic Active Directory experience.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, auditors, etc.).

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with an emphasis on developing creative solutions to perceived challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, create and document process improvements. Processes must be usable by others.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working in Varonis.

  • Experience in working with auditors re: SOX/SOD/SOC applications.

  • Identity Management a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

  • Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.

  • Ability to repeat a process, identify potential changes, issues, identify what's right/wrong.

  • You will collaborate with finance and internal audit to implement and manage required and necessary operational and financial risk controls. In addition, you will provide guidance to the team to perform, document and report on controls.

  • You will monitor and evaluate trends, identify opportunities and recommend processes for team to improve productivity and accuracy in premium/billing processing to enhance the customer experience. In addition, you will manage the execution of routine processes for billing, premium and vendor partners.

  • You will review, update and/or create new documentation as needed per changes in business processes.

What we're looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).

  • 3+ Years' experience in administrative and/or operational support directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role, including 1+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.

  • Effective written/verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to onboard and train new employees with limited knowledge of products, processes and systems.

  • Proven ability to lead a team through change (systems, processes, etc.).

  • Proven confidence while navigating times of ambiguity.

Nice to Have experience (Preferred):

The Role at a Glance

The Information Security Access Validation Consultant will be responsible for facilitating and modernizing the overall process to ensure appropriate management review of access to systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, databases, privileged access, and system IDs.   • Provides customer service to internal/external stakeholders, recognizes what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness to create a recommendable customer experience.

  • Effective written/verbal communication skills.

  • You will meet or exceed all key target areas within Premium & Billing including, but not limited to, suspense, past due and non-admitted.

What we're looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)

  • 7+ Years of experience in claims and/or customer service directly related to the specific responsibilities of this role, with 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience. Ideal experience would include managing other people leaders.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as contracts, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, etc.

Nice-to-have experience (Preferred):

  • Strategic Program Management/ Project Management experience.

  • Vendor Management and/or Strategic Sourcing experience

  • Broker and Customer service delivery experience

  • Indexes payments received; reviews checks or lists of electronic payments, and based on account type sends checks/payments to appropriate team members for processing

  • Handles transfers of payments as needed if another office or team is the more appropriate recipient of the payment

  • Troubleshoots issues with premium & billing, including discrepancies, to identify root cause and issue resolution.

  • Escalates premium & billing issues/concerns to more senior team members and/or management.

  • Provides customer service to internal/external stakeholders, recognizes what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness to create a recommendable customer experience.

  • Recognizes general issues/concerns and suggests process improvements.

  • Manages reporting and completes terminations and reinstatements

The Role at a Glance

As a Financial Analyst, Sales Incentive Compensation you will assist with data preparation for the monthly compensation cycle, and perform complex calculations, analysis, and audits for sales incentive compensation payments. You will be responsible for partnering with Distribution, Finance, Revenue Reporting, IT, and other internal teams to process and resolve sales incentive compensation questions, recalculations, modeling, or reporting requests.   • Partners with the team in the preparation and monthly delivery of sales incentive compensation payments for internal customers based on incentive plan provisions.

The Role at a Glance

The Information Security Access Validation Consultant will be responsible for facilitating and modernizing the overall process to ensure appropriate management review of access to systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, databases, privileged access, and system IDs. In addition, this person will ensure Lincoln appropriately reacts to new and additional validation requests from auditors and management, as appropriate.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible to apply core knowledge obtained for the role to ensure the proper day-to-day operation of Access Validation and Security Compliance.

  • Partner with IT owners to determine access requirements for Lincoln applications, source code tools, and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms.

  • Gather access requirement information to formulate access listings for the applications, source code tools, and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms.

  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve problems during the access validation process. Includes routine problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution.

  • Coordinate requests for revocation of access with Information Security and/or business areas.

  • Provide customer service to internal customers, recognize what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to meet those needs.

  • Clearly and professionally communicate access validation requirements, processes, and respond to questions from Lincoln business, IT partners and management. Strong ability to adjust communication approach to the audience.

  • Provide support and solutions to managers as required during validation process.

  • Record accurate and pertinent information, for all validation processes, to ensure documentation tracker is consistently current.

  • Determine the priority and scope of each request to balance workload.

  • Report status of work effort to Information Security management and other business stakeholders, as appropriate, and meet agreed to timeframes.

  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external

  • Interface with internal and external auditors to respond to requests with appropriate information or documentation and provide walk throughs of processes when requested.

What we're looking for

  • 4 year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in information systems/IT, IT audit, information security, or information risk management. (Minimum Required).

  • 3+ years of experience in information systems/IT, IT audit, information security, information risk management, or enterprise privacy that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required).

  • SailPoint experience (Strongly preferred).

  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's) and Service Now.

  • General familiarity with submitting mainframe jobs.

  • Basic Active Directory experience.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, auditors, etc.).

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The Information Security Access Validation Consultant will be responsible for facilitating and modernizing the overall process to ensure appropriate management review of access to systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, databases, privileged access, and system IDs. The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. The Role at a Glance

As a Data Steward Business Analyst for Lincoln's RetailIQ area, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on the Data Governance vision for RetailIQ. The Role at a Glance

This position is primarily responsible for implementing, maintaining, and administering the network security tools for preventing, detecting, and responding to security events. S/he will work closely with other LFG security and infrastructure teams to configure and tune tools per security requirements to facilitate business objectives.

  • Collaborates with LFG security and infrastructure teams as needed to configure and ensure appropriate data flows and integration with various systems.

  • Assess and assists in the development of network security requirements and evaluate security services and technologies.

  • Identifies systems misconfigurations and serves as a resource to others to correct and analyze the configurations.

  • Maintains availability of security technologies, including but not limited to intrusion prevention system (IPS) and web application firewall (WAF) especially system health, upgrades, logs, and policies.

  • Manages and provides engineering support to endpoint and network detection/response (EDR/NDR) solutions including client and system health, upgrades, protection policies, and logs.

  • Manage LFG multifactor authentication (MFA) infrastructure health and availability. Collaborate with other LFG security teams as needed on configurations and enforcement for user and application access.

  • Reviews firewall security policies and profiles and makes recommendations to LFG infrastructure teams as needed based on security best practices.

  • Maintain LFG secure web gateway including traffic steering configuration, client health, and client configuration.

  • Proactively identify and determine priority for any network security gaps and facilitate collaboration between LFG security and infrastructure teams as needed.

  • Partners with project teams ensuring control techniques are incorporated into the overall security model regarding operating systems, applications, database management, and network management.

  • Provide clear and concise documentation of technical solutions and communicate plans to management and customers.

  • Assesses new and changing security needs and selects the right tools for those needs.

  • Builds scripts and techniques to automate and speed up tasks.

  • Researches, evaluates, and recommends new or improved information security software and tools.

What we're looking for

  • 7 - 10+ years of Information Security / Infrastructure Protection experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position.

  • Four-Year undergraduate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong networking knowledge and understanding of traffic flow.

  • Strong security policy implementation experience.

  • Network security architecture and design experience.

The Role at a Glance

Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) is looking for a team-oriented network security engineer. This position is primarily responsible for implementing, maintaining, and administering the network security tools for preventing, detecting, and responding to security events. S/he will work closely with other LFG security and infrastructure teams to configure and tune tools per security requirements to facilitate business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborates with LFG security and infrastructure teams as needed to configure and ensure appropriate data flows and integration with various systems.

  • Assess and assists in the development of network security requirements and evaluate security services and technologies.

  • Identifies systems misconfigurations and serves as a resource to others to correct and analyze the configurations.

  • Maintains availability of security technologies, including but not limited to intrusion prevention system (IPS) and web application firewall (WAF) especially system health, upgrades, logs, and policies.

  • Manages and provides engineering support to endpoint and network detection/response (EDR/NDR) solutions including client and system health, upgrades, protection policies, and logs.

  • Manage LFG multifactor authentication (MFA) infrastructure health and availability. Collaborate with other LFG security teams as needed on configurations and enforcement for user and application access.

  • Reviews firewall security policies and profiles and makes recommendations to LFG infrastructure teams as needed based on security best practices.

  • Maintain LFG secure web gateway including traffic steering configuration, client health, and client configuration.

  • Proactively identify and determine priority for any network security gaps and facilitate collaboration between LFG security and infrastructure teams as needed.

  • Partners with project teams ensuring control techniques are incorporated into the overall security model regarding operating systems, applications, database management, and network management.

  • Provide clear and concise documentation of technical solutions and communicate plans to management and customers.

  • Assesses new and changing security needs and selects the right tools for those needs.

  • Builds scripts and techniques to automate and speed up tasks.

  • Researches, evaluates, and recommends new or improved information security software and tools.

What we're looking for

  • 7 - 10+ years of Information Security / Infrastructure Protection experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position.

  • Four-Year undergraduate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong networking knowledge and understanding of traffic flow.

  • Strong security policy implementation experience.

  • Network security architecture and design experience.

  • Experience with installation, deployment, and management of security tools/devices, both hardware and software.

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud networking in Amazon and Microsoft cloud environments.

  • Experience in deploying, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting secure web gateway.

  • Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology Cyber Security Framework, MITRE Adversary Tactics, Techniques and Common Knowledge, Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls, and similar frameworks.

  • Scripting experience - Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting

Pay Range: $105,301 - $190,000

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
