We are in search of a Site Lead to lead our team at the Navy DoD Supercomputing Resource Center ( DSRC ) at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. You will be the Be the primary point-of-contract for the DSRC Director and his/her Deputy on day-to-day activities and provide regular status updates to DSRC leadership at weekly status meetings or established methods of oversight. You will have day-to-day oversight and resource management of personnel and funding.
Perform all project control to ensure all DSRC projects are on time and within Budget.
Interact with their corporate office to facilitate DSRC-specific work and ensure business office activities are accelerated in support of the DSRC to include procurements.
Provide feedback on the Integrated Master Schedule to point out and be mindful of dependencies that might affect other projects and potentially other DSRCs. Report on a weekly basis, or as needed, the status of existing projects. Coordinate Enterprise/Cross Center activities where necessary to ensure effective impact beyond the DSRC site.
Managing a high performing multi-discipline team, including Systems Administration, Network Engineering, Information, Cybersecurity, User Support and other disciplines.
Analyzes internal or external customer needs and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.
Maintaining and reporting the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the center
Assess/measure current values for all KPIs.
Work with customer counterpart to ensure consistent interpretation of results.
Publish the values in a monthly report.
Developing and implementing key technology innovations at the center and across the program
Identify critical innovations and opportunities to improve services provided to the program users.
Develop Project plans for implementing these innovations.
Manage project team to ensure successful completion.
Basic Qualifications:
Ten years of experience with Supercomputing systems and/or Centers.
Twelve years experience of progressive IT experience.
Degree in Computer Science or Technical Discipline.
Proven effective leadership of highly technical, diverse Organizations.
Working with a large scale, highly technical customer.

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Lead to oversee fielding of our large-scale inspection systems along the US southern border. Responsible for all aspects of on-site work and coordination with stakeholders from construction kickoff through Government acceptance testing completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background; excellent communication, leadership, and logistics skills; and the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously in coordination and support of other Site Leads.Extensive travel required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the installation and commissioning of vehicle, cargo, and rail inspection systems as well as radiation detection systems.
Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure equipment deliveries, work times and areas, schedule, and issues are coordinated, tracked, and addressed.
Provide support to internal, customer, and subcontractor site-related requests and issues.
Provide brief daily reports and regular communications with stakeholders.
Be to go-to person on-site between all parties for these projects to coordinate information and drive resolution of issues.
Coordinate timely delivery, track shipments, coordinate off loading and laydown areas of equipment supporting the inspection systems.
Foster collaboration among team members to ensure successful equipment and system installations.
Track schedule and plan ahead for approaching major milestones between stakeholders to meet program site objectives.
Coordinate coverage and support between Site Leads to ensure sites have adequate support during times away from the site.
Basic Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing technical teams, preferably in a construction, field service or installation environment.
Ability to read drawings and understand technical documents (specifications, test plans, manuals, etc)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel 100% and/or commute to sites if local.
Ability to work with Government local leadership to effectively manage expectations and concerns with minimal oversight and support.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in technical field.
Previous experience working remote on-site construction, installation, and/or testing

Basic Qualifications:
Related Trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical)/Military Training (electrical, mechanical, electronics). (Equivalence achieved through comparative work and life experience of 2 years of electrical or mechanical field service role). Computer literacy; competency in use of all programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
Minimum of 2 years ' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
Individuals shall possess excellent communications skills and have a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork. Must be responsive to all customer issues at all times. Must be willing & able to travel at short notice.
Must be able to pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).

As a Senior Distribution Engineer, You can expect to:
Develop design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems for Leidos electric utility customers; You can also expect to assist in the oversight and quality assurance of your team's design work
Review work provided by Client and assess requirements of scopes; You will interact frequently with our customer
Perform engineering calculations such as: structural analysis for wood pole loading, guying calculations, specifying conductor sags and tensions for recommended spans, and calculation of voltage drop and flicker.
Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met.
Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design
Be comfortable in a field setting: You may also be asked to visit a customer office or participate in fielding activities on an ad hoc basis; This role is hybrid in nature and may also require some of your time to be spent working with internal teams out of our Walled Lake office
Coordinate conflicting utilities and other field engineering design requirements; Assess and develop large design packages for complex cable/conduit projects in dense urban environments, work permit development, easements, and ROW applications
Experienced engineers may also have the opportunity to lead and train other engineers, and perform QAQC responsibilities
What Sets You Apart (Background Requirements):
A minimum of 4 years of relevant electric distribution design engineering experience working with electric utilities
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering, Engineering Technology, or closely related discipline
Prior Experience with distribution design tools such as BOUD, Pole Foreman, Spida-Calc, O-Calc or similar
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in NESC standards
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to utilize a personal vehicle, as customer-related travel is anticipated (Job-related travel will be reimbursed at IRS-approved rates); Candidates must posses valid US driver's license
Willingness to perform both field and office work; Ability to work in outdoor environments

Primary Responsibilities

The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector seeks a UX/UI Software Engineer to support the Innovations Group on our GSM-O II JMT Program as a member of Enterprise Situational Awareness/Common Operational Picture (SA/COP) Team. Joint Management Tool (JMT) supports the effective planning, deployment, trouble management, and decommissioning of deployed and non-deployed Satellite Communications (SATCOM) resources, specifically those supporting Department of Defense (DoD), mission partner (other U.S. federal agency), and international partner missions. Through the implementation of automated workflows and dynamic user interfaces, the JMT system strives to streamline business processes and significantly reduce the recurrence and impact of human error by functioning as a homogenous platform through which SATCOM planners, provisioners, operators, and customers can seamlessly coordinate SATCOM requests.

Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate primary responsibility will:
Researching, designing, developing and user-testing experiences and making strategic user-experience decisions while working closely with product owners, engineers and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Conducting usability studies and proactively identifying and devising solutions for issues with the existing experience. Tracking success of experience focused changes and iterating as necessary to improve performance.
Independently conducting UX research interviews, prototype reviews, surveys, and usability sessions.
Developing personas, user flows, scenarios, user stories, goal/task analysis, system workflows and other key tools of user-centered design that simplify and enhance the insights acquired from complex data analytics platforms.
Translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, and work collaboratively to create mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experience.
Applying the basics of visual design (i.e UI) principles in their design work such as visual hierarchy, proximity, similarity, font selection and color theory and demonstrate an understanding of visual, layout, content organization, and accessibility guidelines.
Designing, supporting development, documenting, testing and deploying applications and UI prototypes to be written by software team in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Support the creation of Kibana visualizations and dashboards using React, JavaScript and HTML.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a relevant technical discipline and 4+ year of related experience obtained through any combination of coursework and internships.
Software development experience with Python, Java and SQL. Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
Experience with distributed version control software such as Git and Bitbucket.
Knowledge of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of Software Engineering.
Experience developing software on a UNIX command line platform.
Strong communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team.
Ability to obtain interim Secret DoD Security clearance prior to start date.

2+ years of UX/UI architecture, design, development and delivery experience. Strong documentation skills with a proven ability to develop architecture diagrams and wireframes.
1+ years of demonstrable experience designing, developing and deploying dashboards and reports using the Elastic stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana and Beats.

Job Summary
The Program Manager shall be responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract. Review and allocate management reserve within contractual limits

The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) Program. FENS is the successor to the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) contract, which was implemented in 2002 to provide over 30,000 communications services to more than 4,500 facilities within the National Airspace System. Job Summary
The Program Manager shall be responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract. Serves as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor's senior management. Directly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities. Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract. The PM shall utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents
Primary Responsibilities:
Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on the contract
Review and approve all earned value, Estimate To Complete, Funds and Man-hour Expenditure Report, or other financial reports as appropriate
Review and allocate management reserve within contractual limits
Ensure cross-discipline integration within the contract to meet Government needs
Work with the higher-level program manager, if applicable, to provide effective and efficient management of the contractor's effort
Review and propose the Integrated Program Baseline (or resource loaded schedule) to the Government
Review risk and risk mitigation activities and allocate budgets for the same
Prepare program status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government
Ensure the timely recruitment and training of program staff - both direct and indirect
Review all financial and technical reports before release to the Government
Communicate issues and solutions to the Government PM in a timely and transparent manner
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff
Assist the Government PM by providing input to statutory acquisition reports and responses to Congressional Questions for the Record (QFRs)
Coordinate the preparation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and value engineering proposals to the Government PM
Provide Contractor input to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan reviews or Award Fee reviews, as appropriate

Qualifications:
Ten (10) years experience as a program or project manager in managing programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Shall have demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
Shall have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms such as Earned Value Management.
Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal
Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies. Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment is required.
Must have a PMP, FAC-P/PM Mid-Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 2 certification in Program Management.

Leidos is seeking an Environmental and Energy Services Solution Architect to support our customers, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DOE), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and commercial clients, with services and support in Environmental Planning, Environmental Remediation, and Regulatory Compliance. As the Environmental and Energy Services Solution Architect you will be part of a multi-discipline team and work with subject matter experts and specialists to identify challenges, fix problems, shape solutions, and drive innovation.
Our Environmental team is located throughout the U.S. The work may be performed remote , or in a Leidos office if preferred. Some members of our team are located in the following cities: Earth City and Hazelwood, MO; Orlando, FL; Arlington, VA; Cleveland, OH, and Oak Ridge, TN. Depending on location, this position may require up to 50% travel throughout the U.S.
Your Main Mission:
As the Solution Architect you will support current and future customers by shaping and developing technical solutions for on contract work and new business pursuits. You must understand Environmental customer missions and key issues and needs, to identify early, key technological differentiators. The goal is to enhance our product designs, enable a competitive edge, and increase the probability of a successful, deliverable product proposal that meets and exceeds the customer's needs and leads to program wins. As the Solution Architect you will collaborate with team members across the company to capture requirements, develop and implement solutions, and evaluate technologies for existing environmental contracts and new pursuits. To execute projects you will utilize matrixed resources and work with cross-functional product, business, and functional development teams across Leidos.

Support Leidos technical and top-level strategy development, to include key division deliverables
Support technical and solution development efforts across the division, programs, projects, and opportunities
Lead and/or participate in technical solutioning and technical proposal development
Influence division/program/project/team leads regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches
Develop internal innovation and upgrade proposals
Lead and/or participate in internal research and development projects
Evaluate new business opportunities against Leidos capabilities
Develop use cases for existing and new technologies/capabilities
Support technology identification, development, assessment, and infusion efforts
Identify and assess candidate external technologies
Decompose high-level customer requirements into finer technical, functional and logical requirements
Understand competitor, teammate, and customer technology strengths, weaknesses, and needs
Identify and mitigate risks
Enhance technological approaches to research, design, and develop innovative solutions
Enhance Leidos best practices, review and incorporate lessons learned, and participate in other continuous improvement activities
What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or a related field. Master's degree preferred, and at least 6 years' experience in environmental science or engineering, or other research and technology development services in environmental and energy areas
