Description
Primary responsibilities
Identifying, tagging, and segregating non-conforming parts as appropriate
Generating non-conformances for non-conforming parts
Support Quality Metrics and Trending
Support Quality Inspections
Knowledge of inspection methodology including Blue Light Scanning helpful
Support the develop of Manufacturing Travelers/Routers
Ensure Manufacturing Travelers/Routers are followed approving critical steps
Support corrective actions by perform Investigation and root cause analysis to drive improvements into processes
Experience with GD&T and machining
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with
Associates Science Degree is acceptable or have an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with at least 7 years' experience in Quality Engineering under an AS9100 or equivalent experience
In lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality and/or quality engineering under an AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
Experience working under an AS9100 quality system or equivalent experience in a DOD Manufacturing environment.
Candidate must hold an active Secret Security clearance

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Lean Six Sigma certification
GD&T knowledge

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
