As the Environmental and Energy Services Solution Architect you will be part of a multi-discipline team and work with subject matter experts and specialists to identify challenges, fix problems, shape solutions, and drive innovation.
Our Environmental team is located throughout the U.S. The work may be performed remote , or in a Leidos office if preferred. Some members of our team are located in the following cities: Earth City and Hazelwood, MO; Orlando, FL; Arlington, VA; Cleveland, OH, and Oak Ridge, TN. Depending on location, this position may require up to 50% travel throughout the U.S.
Your Main Mission:
As the Solution Architect you will support current and future customers by shaping and developing technical solutions for on contract work and new business pursuits. You must understand Environmental customer missions and key issues and needs, to identify early, key technological differentiators. The goal is to enhance our product designs, enable a competitive edge, and increase the probability of a successful, deliverable product proposal that meets and exceeds the customer's needs and leads to program wins. As the Solution Architect you will collaborate with team members across the company to capture requirements, develop and implement solutions, and evaluate technologies for existing environmental contracts and new pursuits. To execute projects you will utilize matrixed resources and work with cross-functional product, business, and functional development teams across Leidos.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support Leidos technical and top-level strategy development, to include key division deliverables
Support technical and solution development efforts across the division, programs, projects, and opportunities
Lead and/or participate in technical solutioning and technical proposal development
Influence division/program/project/team leads regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches
Develop internal innovation and upgrade proposals
Lead and/or participate in internal research and development projects
Evaluate new business opportunities against Leidos capabilities
Develop use cases for existing and new technologies/capabilities
Support technology identification, development, assessment, and infusion efforts
Identify and assess candidate external technologies
Decompose high-level customer requirements into finer technical, functional and logical requirements
Understand competitor, teammate, and customer technology strengths, weaknesses, and needs
Identify and mitigate risks
Enhance technological approaches to research, design, and develop innovative solutions

What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or a related field. Master's degree preferred, and at least 6 years' experience in environmental science or engineering, or other research and technology development services in environmental and energy areas

We are seeking a broadly trained and highly motivated engineer for advanced technology research and development programs focused on developing and testing novel materials, prototype instrument development, integration, analysis, testing, and optimizations for a range of biological, chemical, and materials applications. This is a highly dynamic and integrative environment in which talented and creative scientists can thrive working on a diverse array of multidisciplinary projects.
Primary Responsibilities.
Work effectively as a member of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team consisting of biologists, chemists, mathematicians, statisticians, and engineers
Collaborate with engineers and scientists to automate laboratory processes using commercial and custom hardware in support of government-funded efforts for novel applications
Assist with the integration of chemistry and biology applications to develop new innovative technologies and products
Quickly adapt to evolving research needs, willingness to learn new techniques, and rapidly acquire new scientific knowledge and stay informed on emerging technologies

The Leidos National Security Sector has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Oahu, Hawaii. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The Senior Network Engineer is recognized as the PACAF Intelligence JWICS Network subject matter expert providing command-wide technical support, advice, and concepts for design, installation, modification, test and evaluation, monitoring, and servicing of this critical warfighting theater-wide network; and other classified/unclass networks as required. This candidate will be required to conduct hardware/software maintenance on intelligence unit networked and non-networked intelligence systems. The individual will be responsible for the successful resolution of network or network-related problems. This support includes coordinating with commercial vendors, government-supported organizations throughout the theater, other contractor staff, and the appropriate agencies for the resolution of the most complex technical issues. Primary Responsibilities
Provide network engineering technical services to include, but not limited to, advanced and complex analysis of network architecture and system performance to include the advanced evaluation of network architecture design and configurations
Manage and be the SME for data transfer protocols in Cisco, Brocade, and Solarwinds network hardware tools and platforms.
Be capable of designing, recommending, and implementing the resolution of multiple operating systems' complex hardware and/or software solutions to maximize network performance.
Research and develop systemic innovative solutions and implement industry best standards across the domain and multiple dispersed geographical locations (US and International)
Manage and maintain key supporting services - Cisco Secure Access Control Systems (ACS), SolarWinds Orion Network Monitoring, and General Dynamics Encryptor Manager (GEMX).

Basic Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing technical teams, preferably in a construction, field service or installation environment.

Leidos is seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineering with a construction management background to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team. In this role you will support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) performing construction oversight for projects in support of Project Engineers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, and Contracting Officers.
This position will report progress and issues against project goals, scope of work, and schedule.
The projects support Air Traffic Control facilities over the eastern third of the continental United States plus the Caribbean. The ideal candidate will live in the eastern part of the US.
This position is 100% travel (full time, including weekends) with each assignment typically lasting weeks or months each with expenses reimbursed.

Ensure general contractor complies with FAA Environmental, Safety, and Health policies.
Supervise construction of FAA projects on-site and provide quality assurance that completed work is compliant the with the plans and specifications.
