We are looking to add an experienced Corporate Chef to work closely with our Group VP and District Managers in the areas of Culinary, Food Safety, Occupational Safety, and Sustainability. As a Corporate Chef for Lexington Independents and Cater to You, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced yet efficient environment. Your Pay:
$120,000 - $130,000 / year
Where you'll be working:
Supports Lexington Independents and Cater to You (all through the US)
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for the life cycle of the food and beverage experience
Ensuring a high level of field support
Commitment to food and occupational safety
Ensure integrity of products at exceptional value
Maintenance of recipe development process and costing
Collaborate with Nutrition and Wellness team
Support purchasing practices
Develop and execute recipe, menu, and concepts within business functions
Develop company-wide sustainability programs, training initiatives, and ensure the highest level of culinary standards are maintained
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
Associates Culinary Arts required
Minimum 5 years' experience in progressive culinary leadership roles Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
Understand and experience of specific regulations and guidelines within business group
Possess professionalism and passion for customer and client relations
Strong communication, cooperation, and organization skills required.
Ability to relate well to individuals and groups with widely varying backgrounds, perspectives, education, and skills
Knowledge and comfort with all Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to learn other software programs as needed.
Nice-to-haves:
Contract Management Experience, Multi-unit experience and Experience opening new accounts
Presentation skills and training experience preferred and ability to utilize various training and communication tools including web based conferences and seminars, conference calls, group presentations, email communication
