Serco supports the New Cabling Infrastructure program providing the buildup and modernization of facilities across Colorado Springs. This position does require a DoD Secret Clearance to access the onsite facilities.
The Network Cabling Technician will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems and supports structured cabling installations by performing simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures. Work is checked in progress or on completion.
In this role you will perform the following tasks:
Contribute to all phases of the infrastructure installation or upgrade
Pulling, dressing, and terminating Copper and Fiber Optic cabling
Installation of racks, cable conveyance, and all peripheral equipment
Rack and Stacking of equipment in racks
Testing and recording of all cables
Installation of Audio Visual (AV) systems equipment and cabling
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
US Citizen
Active and Current DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
High School diploma/GED
2-4 years of experience in related tasks
Lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $45,419.13 to $68,128.70; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
