SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of ITW Refrigeration's Quality department, ensuring the department is run efficiently and production needs are adequately met and resolved. The Service Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of 3 quality auditors. This role is responsible for the creation and updating of quality work instructions, training documentation for auditors. The quality supervisor is also responsible for reviewing audit data, determining root cause of issues reported and taking corrective action to assure issue will not reoccur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain critical to quality work instruction documents, and use generic work instructions that are developed and maintained by operations to:
Perform audits on production lines using written work instructions.
Have documents updated as needed to improve production processes.
Development and Maintain calibration schedules for equipment.
Direct audit activities, review WIP and FPA data and take corrective action to continuously improve quality of the product
Support production leads and operators for interpretation and methods following set standards
Evaluate and recommend alternative auditing procedures for continuous improvement
Provide technical support for production and service departments to validate field return units.
Testing of nonconformance parts and be responsible to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for 3 quality auditors including training, development, and supervision.
Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing Industry.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access , Word, PowerPoint, PowerBi)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Works cooperatively and congenially with co-workers to achieve cohesive and productive work processes
