You'll design and deliver solutions within the fundamental infrastructure of the service. You will deliver systems to meet our business continuity planning goals, provide telemetry for optimizing the service and drive our response time for detecting and resolving service issues down.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a creative, agile, and curious engineer who love creating and building things that delight and protect our customers to join our team as a Principal Software Engineer. You will be working with a team of amazing engineers, PMs, and designers, and work closely with other teams across Microsoft to deliver large scale, distributed architectures, and features to meet OneDrive and SharePoint's core infrastructure needs.

Qualifications
*Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years industry programming, software development, and/or software engineering experience using coding language C#
OR equivalent experience
1+ years of experience in delivering and interacting with REST API's and web services across multiple systems
2+ years of experience being responsible for large scale cloud-based service
Experience collaborating with partner teams to meet the engineering goals in a unified manner
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with networking systems and technologies
Experience with secure software design concepts
Experience delivering project that include components from multiple teams
Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
