Locust Street is hiring a Cook Aide/Center Aide. The Cook aide/center Aide is responsible for helping the lead cook plan and organize the purchasing, preparing, dating, labeling, and storing of foods in the assigned center. Being able to operate and manage the kitchen, and ensure a proper flow of tasks assigned. Maintaining proper sanitation is essential. This individual will also assist in various ways in the Head Start center including the kitchen, classroom, and office. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must participate in and pass random drug and alcohol testing. Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening.
