Overview
FTI is seeking a junior-mid level Software Developer to support its Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) project in Chesapeake, VA and on-site with Client in Norfolk, VA. This position requires a developer to work hand-in-hand with analysts, other developers, and customer user groups. The candidate will work with both the development team and its customer to coordinate the on-time development and delivery of solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications.
Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with Field or concentration in Computer Science.
Previous programming (front and back end) experience with MS Access.
SQL Development would be a plus.
Power BI would be a plus.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
