FTI is excited to hire a Technical Project Manager to join our team. This IT-focused position emphasizes personnel, project, and financial management for the AFMC SIPR Modernization Team at WPAFB. In this role, you will manage projects as directed by the customer for the IT-focused AFMC SIPR and ADSV technical teams at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where you will have a full-time, on-site work schedule. You will manage financial, contractual, and project objectives and utilize MS Teams applications to enhance program office operations. A successful candidate must be able to work closely with the customer to understand project deliverables, schedules, budgets, goals, and objectives.

Must be physically located near, and willing to report to, the customer site in Dayton, OH full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall management, governance, direction, and execution of assigned projects, as directed by the customer (to include IT/Technical projects).

  • Oversee project financials, including tracking, forecasting, and reporting of status.

  • Prioritize quality standards while ensuring tasks and deliverables are submitted on time and within budget.

  • Evaluate project requirements and determine related technical goals to accomplish required objectives.

  • Identify deviations from financial and execution plans and implement corrective actions, as required, to ensure project success.

  • Communicate program status, technical progress, and business impacts to team management and other interested parties.

  • Foster positive relationships with government customers, ensuring proactive and consistent communication.

  • Foster an open and collaborative environment with support staff, ensuring consistent communication and feedback.

  • Drive implementation of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) technologies into funded customer projects.

  • Manage IT projects, as directed by the customer.

Education/Qualifications

Required:

  • DoD Secret Clearance is required (minimum).

  • Associate's degree in a related field (such as Computer Science or Information Technology).

  • 5+ years of project management experience increasing in scale, scope, and complexity.

  • 3+ years of project management experience on programs/projects supporting the Department of Defense.

  • Professional experience in IT-focused environments.

  • Professional experience using Microsoft TEAMS and other Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Project, to help facilitate office integration.

  • Professional experience with Data Analytics tools, such as PowerBI and/or other similar Dashboard tools.

  • Professional budget management experience.

  • Professional experience with SoP design/writing.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, decision-making, and presentation skills.

  • Must be physically located near, and willing to report to, the customer site in Dayton, OH full-time.

    Preferred:

  • Project+ and/or similar certification(s), and/or higher certifications.

  • 3+ years of prior experience supporting Air Force IT systems.

  • Bachelor's, Masters, MBA, or post-graduate degree in a related field (such as Computer Science or Information Technology).

Overview

FTI is currently looking for expeditionary staff with Shipbuilding Specialist knowledge. These individuals will support the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) from Norfolk, VA . The Shipbuilding Specialist will conduct inspections, surveys, or examinations of navy vessels to assess, monitor and report on the condition. This position involves coordinating, scheduling, and administering repair work on U.S. Navy ships, including: ship inspections, safety monitoring, material control, quality assurance, cost and schedule management, test and certification coordination, technical and contractual recommendations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Supports boat and associated equipment surveys and assists in the development of detailed statements of work to support industrial work for Intermediate and Depot level maintenance requirements.

  • Supports the review of contracted work and acts as the technical representative, working with the Type Desk and TPOC, for the subsequent repair/maintenance availability period through redelivery of the boat to the operating unit.

  • Skill in the use of automated data processing equipment and various software programs mandated for government use for the preparation of work specifications during planning of small boat repair and modernization availabilities.

  • A ssists repair availabilities, and coordinates, schedules and administers assigned repair work to ensure that planning functions are completed in time to permit orderly work list preparation, screening, and specification preparation.

The Senior Advisory Program Analyst will provide subject matter expertise to analyze a broad range of issues, deliver innovative solutions, and provide strategic assessments to influence senior Navy civilian and military decision makers. The ideal candidate is a retired Surface Warfare Officer/Chief of Staff -- who will provide overall program management support to communicate and ensure execution of the Director's vision across the cross-functional, Govt-Contractor Program Team.

*As part of the Hybrid Work Model at Frontier Technology Inc, partial tele-work is authorized. Candidate will be onsite at the Washington Navy Yard 2-3 days a week as required by the Program Director.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business issues, define requirements, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues.

  • Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats.

  • Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep team within timeline and budget.

Overview

FTI is looking for a full-time DoD Combatant Command (CCMD) Mission Analyst to support the US Army in conjunction with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) Cyber Warfare Directorate (CWD). This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of a high-profile DoD program with Congressional mandates for national security in military systems.

Our ideal candidate will have operations research analysis and planning experience within the DoD community working in support of operational and/or strategic level organizational, service component, or CCMD staffs. Analyst should have extensive experience in operations research and analytic computations. Candidates should have expertise in advanced data analysis techniques. The ability to demonstrate technical leadership and team building skills is important, and analysts should have experience informing executive-level decisions with timely, accurate results.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as part of a small team to develop a new Department of Defense (DoD) project life cycle that yields quantified -Risk to Mission- deliverables to Combatant Commands at an operational and tactical level

  • Employ Operations Research techniques to conduct complex analysis and determine impacts of weighted interdependencies on operational mission risk

  • Collect, organize and manage large amounts of information on Mission Essential Tasks (METs), Key Operational Information (OPLANs, Campaign Plans, etc.), Critical Assets, and Interdependency Metrics to analyze connections between resource capabilities and risk to operational and enduring mission requirements

  • Build relationships and network with multiple Military and Government organizations

  • D esire for continued development and open to learning new system and modeling platforms as they emerge

  • Conduct work assignments of increasing complexity

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Education/Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working in or in support of military organizations at the operational or strategic levels

  • Expertise with Operations Research Analysis functions, for example:

  • Operational Assessments

  • Data Collection and Database Management

  • Military Decision Point Analysis

  • Mathematical Modeling

  • Transforming Complex Analysis into Executive-level Decision Support

  • Experience in leading diverse teams to meet timelines and deliverables is required

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite software is required

  • Bachelors degree in a STEM-related field is required

  • Active Top Secret for Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance is required

  • Experience with data analysis software (R, Python, SAS, etc.) is preferred

  • Experience working on or with Combatant Command (CCMD) Level Staffs is preferred

  • Experience in cyber-related operations, information management, or analysis is preferred

  • Experience with strategic planning, specifically related to campaign plans and war plans is preferred

  • Experience operating in the space operations domain is preferred

  • Experience with the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP), Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), and/or Joint Operations Planning and Education System (JOPES) is preferred

  • Experience with the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Mission Essential Task (MET) Development, Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), and/or Strategic Mission Assurance Data System (SMADS) is preferred
