Overview

FTI is looking for a full-time DoD Combatant Command (CCMD) Mission Analyst to support the US Army in conjunction with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) Cyber Warfare Directorate (CWD). This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of a high-profile DoD program with Congressional mandates for national security in military systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as part of a small team to develop a new Department of Defense (DoD) project life cycle that yields quantified -Risk to Mission- deliverables to Combatant Commands at an operational and tactical level

  • Employ Operations Research techniques to conduct complex analysis and determine impacts of weighted interdependencies on operational mission risk

  • Collect, organize and manage large amounts of information on Mission Essential Tasks (METs), Key Operational Information (OPLANs, Campaign Plans, etc.), Critical Assets, and Interdependency Metrics to analyze connections between resource capabilities and risk to operational and enduring mission requirements

  • Build relationships and network with multiple Military and Government organizations

  • D esire for continued development and open to learning new system and modeling platforms as they emerge

  • Conduct work assignments of increasing complexity

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Education/Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working in or in support of military organizations at the operational or strategic levels

  • A BS/BA Degree in a business, management, procurement, contract management or financial related field from an accredited college or university.

  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience performing the stated or similar functions.

  • Conducts highly complex work, unsupervised and with extensive latitude for independent judgment.
