Overview

FTI is seeking a Wargame and Air Operations Analyst to support support quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance. Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives. Produce analyses and actionable reports based on the quantitative and qualitative data outputs from various wargame scenarios and modeling, simulation, and analysis tools. Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance. Communicate directly with DoD customers the findings and insights from wargaming activities. Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas. May participate in the design and development of business intelligence reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Create reports, dashboards, and data sets for collaboration internally and externally of the organization.

  • Perform data management to include bringing multiple data sources together, perform data cleanup, shaping, and modeling to produce visualizations and reports that support and enable actionable insights.

  • Assist in the collection of data, conduct analytical reviews, and make recommendations for improving policies.

  • Assist in the analysis of raw data and provide decision-supporting products such as historical trends, reports, graphical data presentations, and recommendations.

  • Assist in quantitative analysis.

  • Utilize mathematical and statistical methods to provide the value of solutions required to increase combat power and readiness.

  • Participate in the development of procurement plans and program objectives by evaluating cost/readiness tradeoffs, budget requirements/constraints, etc.

  • Assist with performance of special assignments, such as cross-functional team initiatives and force readiness improvement initiatives. Includes administrative assignments to develop knowledge of the mission.

  • Assist with performance of wargame design, product development, facilitation of guided group activities, wargame analysis, and wargame report preparation.

Education/Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance Required

  • Bachelor Degree Required, Master's Degree highly preferred

  • 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Military operations, maintenance and/or logistics

  • Analysis
