FTI is hiring an Information Security Engineer to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) Cyber Warfare Directorate. Responsibilities
Develop systems and procedures to safeguard information systems and databases for consulting clients. Build a customer-focused relationship with client to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution
Collaborate across multiple internal teams to ensure successful delivery of results based on scope of work
Conduct security assessments and develop practical and workable security solutions based on identified gaps
Establish requirements, standards, and procedures to minimize risk. Provide services in areas such as information security testing and evaluation, auditing, vulnerability and risk management, network security, and security implementation. May specialize in a given area of information security such as mobile device and mobile application development security, forensic analysis, and/or data recovery
Demonstrate proficiency in creating proposals and SOW's, responding to RFP's
Present proposals to clients
Drive working sessions with client to ensure expectations and direction are aligned and timelines are being met
Identify additional product/service opportunities
Education/Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience required
IAT Level II certification or IAM Level I certification required
Security+ CE preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present findings to high level government leaders and FTI management
Windows computing environment certifications
Linux computing environment certifications
VMWare computing environment certifications
TS/SCI clearance is required
