Responsibilities
Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions to ensure the protection of proprietary and confidential data and systems for the Department of the Navy's Commander, Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) Force Cyber Division.
Participate in the execution of cyber OT&E-related test events.
Support program-specific cyber tabletops and other external events.
Analyze and decompose technical engineering components to understand the attack surface and vectors of a system under test, ensuring the system's mission is supported and identifying vulnerabilities for Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessment (CVPA) and Adversarial Assessment (AA).
Interface with clients in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into cyber assessment strategies.
Translate secure complex system configurations into assessment objectives and test security products and systems to identify security weaknesses.
Education/Qualifications
Required:
U.S. Top Secret Department of Defense Clearance (SCI eligible).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, electrical/computer engineering, or related fields ~OR~6+ years' experience with software/systems engineering, network engineering, cyber defense operations, or analyzing system/network architecture for vulnerabilities and mitigations.
Experience with cyber test design and planning.
Minimum 5 years of experience briefing senior-level leadership.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing.
Minimum 5 years of experience planning and executing multiple complex projects leading to successful cyber test events.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office programs.
Preferred:
U.S. Top Secret Dept. of Defense TS/SCI Clearance.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.
Experience with IT-21, CANES and other Navy networks.
Experience with Naval aviation, submarine, and surface ship systems.
Cyber test planning and execution experience.
Test and Evaluation (T&E) experience.
Industry certifications to include but not limited to: Certified Test and Evaluation Professional (CTEP), Network+, Security+, CISSP, GSEC, CASP, CISA, CRISC, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
