The North Star Imaging Electrical Technician perform a wide variety of duties associated with Industrial X-Ray system production, installation, and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly of capital equipment per drawings, written or verbal instructions
Fabrication of components per engineered drawings or verbal instructions to include cutting, drilling and tapping
Electrical assembly per schematics
Wire and cable termination to panel
Cable routing
System power-up and troubleshooting
Motion programming
Imaging testing (training provided)
Preparation of equipment or systems for shipment
System installation at customer's site which includes:
Travel required up to 35% for installations, no stay longer than 2 weeks
Domestic and international travel required for installations
Associates Degree and over one year of work experience
Mechanical & electrical aptitude
Knowledge of fabrication & assembly techniques
Blue print and schematics reading
Safe operation of hand & power tools
Good communication skills & be a team player
