Job Description:
Caterpillar's Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is hiring a Data Analyst !
Do you want to be part of a dynamic, collaborative team supporting business partners with data solutions? We are looking for an individual to provide data visualization solutions that enable actionable business insights. We provide data solutions that support our broader global team as they work to achieve targets. Responsibilities include managing data visualization projects, ad hoc report creation, and other tasks as assigned.
Job Duties:
Use Tableau and PowerBI to create solutions
Use Alteryx to combine data to support new dashboards
Manage multiple projects for customers simulateously
Clearly communicate and document project progress, roadblocks, and anticipated timelines
Seek information about the real, underlying needs of their customers, beyond those expressed initially, and match those needs to available (or customized) products or services
Hybrid workweek. Infrequent travel required (
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree plus 5 years work experience OR bachelor's degree plus 3 years work experience
Minimum 5 years experience using SQL
Minimum 1 year experience using each of the following tools: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications:
A strong customer focus, possess dealer and customer experience, knowledge of company products and product applications
A proven track record of building cross-functional relationships with diversified departments
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to remain calm under pressure
An understanding of Caterpillar data systems
An understanding of Caterpillar products
Work Locations: Chicago or Peoria, IL
