Job Description:
A Program Manager responsible for managing and supporting FMS orders and IDIQ contract relationships.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for managing FMS contract coordination, communications, and issue resolution.
Responsible for preparang and submitting contract CDRLs to CECOM and DCMA.
Responsible for supporting cost, schedule and technical performance requirements of a program through all phases from inception to completion.
Directs the preparation of small to moderate size proposals, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget and financial terms/conditions of a contract.
Ensures that all manpower such as engineering, manpower, production and facilities are available to support the program.
Under manager's supervision, involved in defining program parameters or guiding research and development efforts in assigned field.
Works with customers to determine needs, requirements and new business opportunities.
Work with International Business Development team to support pursuit of FMS business.
Coordinate with several internal departments to ensure proper and timely execution for FMS orders, including: Country sales/programs teams, bids and proposals, contracts, manufacturing, business planning, shipping, accounting.
Work directly with US Government FMS Agencies.
Maintain various FMS business status reports.
Support the pursuit of the division's orders and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledgeable of tactical communications a plus
Defense industry / US DOD contracting experience desired
4+ years experience in program management or operation
2+ years of international experience
2+ years direct customer interface experience
2+ years experience managing proposal efforts
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $74,000 - $138,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
