Role Definition
Responsibilities
Follows up-to-date regulatory requirements, industry best practices, trends and business requirements.
Providing solutions and support for large and complex underwriting risk evaluation processes in a given line of business.
Mentoring and guiding less experienced underwriters in handling underwriting issues; developing and delivering corresponding training according to departmental needs.
Advising on the monitoring of loss experience and business conditions of key accounts as well as loss trends and any relevant legal or economic factors affecting a given line of business.
Provides documentation support during negotiations with customer's attorneys and Cat Financial attorneys.
Manages the loan covenant compliance process and various loan retention accounts during the term of the loan.
Explains, defends, persuades and supports recommendations for interested parties. Interested parties may include end-user customer, marketing organizations of Caterpillar Divisions, staff and management of Business Units, and FPD credit staff and executives.
