CTG is seeking to fill a SEM-Scanning Electron Microscope Technician opening for our client in Hopewell Junction, NY.
Location: Hopewell Junction, NY
Duration: Ongoing contract
Duties:
Follow instructions from lead engineers and job requesters.
Operate scanning electron microscope (SEM), focused ion beam (FIB), optical microscope, and polishing wheel.
Maintain a basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication environments.
Sort and store wafers as part of lab maintenance.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to comprehend 3D structures and their 2D cross-sections.
Steady hands for handling small objects.
Basic understanding of chemistry and physics.
Experience:
Prior experience in the semiconductor industry (1+ years).
Understanding of basic integrated circuits (1+ years).
Experience operating SEM, FIB, and optical microscopes (1+ years).
Education:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
