CTG's client is looking for a QA Tester for a top software client in the Raleigh, NC area.
Duration- Long Term Contract (possible perm conversion)
Salary- $90,000k - $109,000k
Location- Onsite in Raleigh, NC office
The QA Tester will work within the organization and involve executing and enhancing quality assurance standards for in-restaurant, in-store, web, and mobile customer-facing technologies and services, such as restaurant, fuel, and retail point of sale (POS) as well as back-office systems.
Expectations include: You apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives. You remain current on trends in our industry as well as the latest techniques/technologies that help drive effective QA processes to improve the results we deliver to our clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality software and will contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality assurance processes and procedures based on best practice methodology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and enhance standards for QA processes and procedures for the organization. Enforce the processes and procedures on your projects.
Be a go-to person for QA on the assigned project. Coordinate all test activities for the project to achieve its goals. Advise stakeholders on scope of testing required to achieve the goals in given time.
Be a mentor for other team members and relay the product knowledge. Provide on-the-job training.
Work closely with development team, product owners and other team members to determine the scope of testing to ensure maximum test coverage.
Plan and execute tests for new, modified, or existing solutions to ensure that the final product meets high quality standards, is fully functional, and satisfies the end user expectations.
Create and execute well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure overall quality of the product is met.
Identify any potential issues with the product and report the issues effectively to the development team.
Work collaboratively with development team on the issue resolution and recommend program improvements.
Perform regression/smoke tests when necessary, as a final check to ensure that the product is of good quality before delivering to the customer.
Report test results, QA status, and risks to the project team in timely manner before delivery of the product to the customer.
Replicate and analyze issues related to the current system or reported by the customer including database and environment level investigation.
Help set up and maintain internal test environments and test data. Install new versions of the applications under test.
Qualifications :
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of relevant technical QA experience or similar role
Retail, Fuel Pharmacy, Restaurant, or POS experience is a big plus Office Skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
Basic SQL/Databases, Basic Linux and XML
Ability to work with various QA/Testing tools and technologies (i.e. Jira, Testlink, SOAP UI, Postman)
Scripting (Python) experience is advantage
Problem analysis - Retail Process Knowledge (Retail Experience) a big plus

In this role, you will support and promote Contamination Control at the Fairport - NY Plant by monitoring existing clean spaces, supporting production to prevent/minimize/reduce contamination, identifying potential continuous improvements and maintaining the documentation and equipment required for contamination control.
Requirements:
Performing the following activities at scheduled intervals in/on designated areas/equipment, and recording results/filing reports in designated repositories:
Various sampling per documented procedures (includes airborne/surface particulates, airborne & surface organic/inorganic contamination, ultrapure water contamination, etc.) including ordering of exposure kits and coordination of locations for sampling
Inspection, cleaning and testing of ionizing guns/bars
Monitoring of the power and frequency of ultrasonic/megasonic units
Certification of clean benches, clean enclosures, etc. as needed
Maintenance of contamination control documentation
Assisting with coordination of calibration of all instrumentation used in the above activities
Supporting all clean rooms/clean spaces including garment supply/rotation
Cleanroom protocol audits
Communicate any non-conforming activities/conditions to the Contamination Control engineer

Collaborates with Workstation Support Services business units to ensure hardware and software orders are received, configured, scheduled, and installed. Works independently while providing on-site installation, customer service, and technical installation and/or repairs support per department or individual customer requests. To perform work on customer sites across the US working with the fellow Decom team members. Decom is responsible for returning new and used customer material from the site back into inventory. The team receives requests from engineering groups within NetOps that complete deployments across the US region, this material translates into a request sheet listing the equipment that is required to be collected and brought safely back to our warehouse location.
Duties:
Working on customer sites across the US
Booking travel for Decom for upcoming activity
Adhering to customer security and safety policies
Supporting in the preparation of Decom projects with good research and feedback on team meetings prior to project start dates
Performing part identification and data input into inventory management system
Performing configuration checks of high value items and documentation updates
Safe removal of telecoms equipment on customer sites
Repacking of high value items according to our packaging guidelines

Required Qualifications
Education

CTG is seeking an experienced Cerner PathNet / LIS Analyst for ongoing legacy support role. This is a remote role supporting a client in Tennessee.
Position Key Responsibilities:
· Provide application support services for Cerner PathNet – AP, GenLab, Specimen Management, Micro, HLA, Laboratory Imaging, Charge Capture for six acute care facilities
· Additional support is required for RALS Point of Care, Antan Advantage, SpotImaging, Intuitive, and Hemotrax
· Maintenance of 100+ instrument interfaces with Cerner legacy
· Maintenance of new instrument interfaces are on Cerner iBus; approximately 60% of all interfaces are via iBus
· Follow client’s documented Demand Management process to obtain approval for changes
· Runs ops jobs to monitor system and sends reports for tracking failed charges, ownership of lab updates to PowerPlans, DA2 reporting, build for accession label printers, maintenance of all lab rules in Cerner, and Siemens robotics at 2 sites
· Provide support for projects and other special application initiatives
· Troubleshoot complex user errors and provide timely and high quality customer service
· Document issues and solutions
· Participate in the day to day tracking and follow-up on issues and questions of daily operations.
· Validate and support system testing efforts
· Work with client users and functional teams as needed
· Escalate issues to the vendor as needed, and monitor vendor tickets for resolution
· Utilize the ticket management system to track issue status and work volume
· Participate in a 24/7 after hours on call rotation
· Work will be performed remotely with potential for occasional on site travel for validation, testing, etc.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years’ experience in support and build of Cerner PathNet, Gen Lab, specimen management, Micro, AP, and Bloodbank
· Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to communicate resolutions to customers
· Prefer prior experience working remotely to provide production support
· In depth knowledge of Laboratory workflows required; Med Tech or other clinical experience
· Knowledge of HLA, Hemotrax and Discern Analytics (DA2) report writing preferred.
· Experience with Siemens robotics, RALS point of care, Antan Advantage, SpotImaging, and Intuitive would be helpful
Pay range for this opening is $90,000 - $125,000/annual.
