Position Information:
This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.
Shift Information: Monday- Friday 7AM- 4PM
Domestic relocation is available for this position.
Role Summary:
Manages staff and activities related to the Sales & Operations Process. The incumbent will have 5-7 direct reports.
What you will do:
Coordinating with multiple functions, such as manufacturing, product group, marketing, material planning etc., to acquire appropriate requirements to meet customer demand.
Managing day-to-day activities of their staff; participating in interviewing, hiring, and training and development of associates.
Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Develop improved policies and procedures to strengthen compliance initiatives.
Participating in planning inventory and defining optimal inventory levels and adjustment authority; monitoring inventory levels.
What you have:
Extensive experience as a leader within a supply chain position (i.e. Material Requirements Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager, Demand & Orders Manager, or other similar titles/ responsibilities).
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive experience using effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years), and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive experience using decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Supply Chain Management: Working knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processes.
Top candidates will also have:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration/ Management
Planning and Organizing: Working knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Problem Solving: Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Process Management: Working knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
Operational Functions: Working knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Strong computer skills including: Microsoft365 (PowerBI, Excel, and Access)
Knowledge or experience using Scope Planning Tools
Knowledge or experience gathering, analyzing, and reporting large amounts of data efficiently
Implementing and/or replacing inventory management software and processes.
Familiarity with CAT products and systems.
