The Senior Analyst is responsible for building and managing all menu items, item exceptions, promotions, and custom configurations within the Altametrics Platform. While the focus of this role is back office system the support of the PAR/Brink POS software platform and several other core systems while serving as a liaison between various internal teams, and specific technology resellers is also a core competency. This person will ensure all QA testing is completed on all new enhancements to the restaurant technology team's systems. This person will also maintain the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of corporate and/or franchise restaurants, ensuring high levels of systems availability and customer satisfaction, while optimizing usage of hardware and software resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build, manage, support and maintain menu item databases, coupons, discounts, promotions, and approved custom configurations within the company's core systems T
Test menu items, coupons, discounts, promotions, and approved custom configurations
Develop and execute processes for database maintenance problem resolution and escalation support for Restaurant Technology andunderlyinginfrastructureswhilecreatingandmaintainingdocumentationforsaidprocesses
Partner with key departments outside of IT, such as Operations and Marketing to define, establish and implement best practices and procedures for core platform (e.g., database management, user experience and user interface)
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues within the support products Performs quality assurance (QA) processes to ensure all configurations are deployed accurately and completely to the restaurants
Develop and provide documentation and training processes to enhance the skill level of Technical Support IT/Service Desk Staff
Provide extended support outside of core business hours when required by the business owners
Provide active assistance to the Product Owners of back office, payment, point of sale etc. systems
EDUCATION and EXPERIANCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred:Four year degree in computer science, business or related field
2+ years of experience in database design / administration of Point-of-Sale or Back Office Systems.
2+ years Restaurant (QSR/TSR) environment experience
2+ years Restaurant support experience
Preferred:2+ years of experience in implementation / deployment of the Altametrics software platform.
Preferred:2+ years of experience in systems design, integration, and implementation/deployment of infrastructure and supporting software applications.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES:
Knowledge of restaurant infrastructure components and applications, including hardware, system and application software, and networking. Quick Service Restaurant or Retail business experience. Ability to maintain positive collaborative relationships with cross functional groups
