Program/Project Manager

This Program/Project Manager will be leading a dynamic team, providing professional and administrative support services to AFMRA HQ and Medical Treatment Facilities throughout the AF. The US Air Force Medical Readiness Agency (AFMRA) is laser focused on operational medical readiness and provides a more ready fighting force. The organization oversees medical readiness programs, expeditionary medical capabilities, and readiness-related Air Force mission support requirements. It also assists the AF Surgeon General in developing the policies to support Air Force major commands and base-level unit missions worldwide.
As the Program/Project Manager you will be leading a dynamic team that works closely with AFMRA leadership and Air Force Medical Treatment Facilities teams to deliver top notch leadership to the USAF medical community throughout the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and Puerto Rico.
In this role, you will be providing day-to-day operational support in a high operational tempo environment; be the Subject Matter Expert for task management supporting over 400 active duty and civilians personnel; prioritize and manage task assignment to your team; facilitate shaping strategic messaging for the AFMRA organization; and manage contract performance.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
A Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in health-care related field
10 years' experience in an AF Medical organization (of which includes 3 years' experience at a Headquarters/MAJCOM level)
Expert knowledge of AFMS operating principles, organizational structure and design and programs/functions
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in information management and knowledge management
Must have a valid US Passport?
Must have a DoD Secret Level Clearance
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time CONUS and OCONUS
Must be able to relocate to the NCR
Must be able to elaborate your DoD Medical Experience to include theOrganization and in what capacity that you provided this support
Must have reliable transportation to the Falls Church, VA customer site.
