Process Safety Engineer

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. KBR is looking for a Process Safety Engineer to help support a large scale EPC project,

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company.

  • Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.

  • Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.

  • Job roles contribute directly to value creation.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical industry experience is very relevant to for this role

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum of 10 years related experience, with an average experience of 15+ years.

  • Experience in HAZID, HAZOPs, SIL/LOPA Reviews, QRAs, Plant Spacing and Layout, Consequence Modeling using PHAST, and PI&Ds reviews.
