These roles are critical in supporting the US Air Force mission to optimize pilot readiness and effectiveness through data-driven insights and advanced analytics.

The Data Analyst will provide high-level expertise in areas of data science and decision support analysis. The Data Analyst will be responsible for implementing and promoting data-driven decision support systems and creating high-impact analytics solutions for our clients. Expect to develop algorithms, solves complex problems, build predictive analytics, uses automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into insights that help the client make informed decisions. You will provide customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it.

The primary objective of the Data Analyst is to shape long-term understanding and impact of training, understand context and operationalize research constructs into field studies as indicated by the Government. The Data Analyst will be tracking and presenting actionable metrics for qualitative assessments and scale data management and outputs IAW the Government's needs as necessary. As Airmen progress and their training age (how long they have done a given task) increases, qualitative metrics will change as well.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide actionable reports and provides Air Force leaders with professional, viewable and printable reports.

  • Work with the Government to create data input and output products and methodologies.

  • Work with the Government, across all required domains, to develop actionable metrics and data outputs.

  • Will provide Data Analysts support to quantitively and qualitatively analyze physiological and psychological/cognitive metrics associated with aircrew.

  • Utilize data driven insights to paint the picture of what challenges fighter aircrew, physically and mentally through objectives data sets, captured and displayed through a data management system.

  • Provide the ability to assess class averages, highs and lows, with the overall goal of establishing Aircrew specific normative data and algorithms.

  • Provide a service that manages all data, with the understanding that all data belongs to the Government and must be returned to the Government upon request.

  • Use advanced techniques that integrate traditional and non-traditional datasets and methods to enable analytical solutions.

  • Design, develop, build classifier and implements quantitative models. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify attributes and apply predictive analytics techniques including information retrieval, machine learning, network analysis and data mining to generate management insight and enable customer-facing applications.

  • Research, test, build, and perform data transformations for data reduction and variable analysis of risk to implement statistical techniques. Assist with designing and developing new models or refreshing existing software.

  • Integrate and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data (internal and external) to enable analytical solutions.

  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify client requirements.

  • Develop reports and custom requests for users.

  • Assist with application and user support when needed.

  • Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.

  • Specify users and user access levels for each segment of the OHWS selected software program(s).

  • Train users and answer questions.

  • Support Subject Matter Experts (SME's) on efforts to develop scalable, efficient, and automated solutions for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation.

  • Work with Software Developers to research architecture for new products, services, and features.

  • Assist in developing algorithms and supporting code such that research efforts are based on the highest quality data.

  • Implement modeling features and methods to develop custom architectures and application integration for program execution.

  • Ensure data security measures and methods are current and implemented throughout the data lifecycle.

  • Work with clients to develop comprehensive operational and strategic data analytics plans/solutions.

  • Deep dive into data sets to provide clients with actionable metrics.

  • Create visualizations of physiological and psychological key performance indicators (KPIs) for clients.

  • Develop presentations and papers for client digestion of varying data sets.

  • Help developers structure input and analytic tools and processes within the data management system.

  • Work with client staff, including coaches and managers to distill actionable meanings from data sets.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

Possess a bachelor's degree in the field of Statistics / Mathematics/ Marketing/ Economics, or Business Administration or equivalent degree. Possess 2+ years' data mining and/or 4+ years in a data analyst role. Shall have a proficient understanding and working knowledge of computer, e-mail, voice mail, and telephone texts to perform duties. Additionally, be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in the field of Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, Economics, OR Business Administration or equivalent degree.

  • Possess 2+ years' data mining and/or 4+ years in a data analyst role.

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong background in data collection, analysis, and visualization.

  • Proficiency in understanding and working knowledge of computer, email, voicemail, and telephone texts, to perform duties

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

KBR is seeking a Program Analyst/SharePoint Administrator to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. As a part of one of the world's largest independent logistics organizations supporting both the US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining an incredibly talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs. As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO), which is composed of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel, while supporting FMS logistics projects. This position offers a hybrid work setting (3x a week in office, 2x a week remote).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the senior management information systems administrator with providing system administration technical support to the government. Develop and maintain multiple SharePoint databases, which will provide an automated information system of programmatic and technical information for administrative and information exchange purposes. Assists with a wide range of functions, including accomplishing system programming, development of code, assessment of coding effectiveness, and debugging. Provides program office analysis support. Participates in meetings and supports specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Controls the design, use, and configuration of large database systems as well as the global view of databases and access to the databases.Administrative, professional or other responsible work related to a broad range of fields including, but not limited to, personnel management, funds management, management analysis, procurement, contract management, data processing, travel, and office management. Coordination off a wide range of program related efforts including action item and risk database management, correspondence drafting, meeting coordination, recording meeting minutes, engineering change proposal review, CDRL development/review, drafting of SOW, and development/review of various briefings for the customer. Uploading of correspondence, enclosures, and reference material to SharePoint database as well as providing monthly calendar updates in support of schedules and meetings. SharePoint action item and risk database management, reviewing outgoing correspondence and providing feedback and guidance, developing and maintaining correspondence templates per correspondence manual requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Education & Experience (+Substitutions)

  • BS/BA from an accredited US university or college and 0-3 years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, lifecycle management, analysis, or planning.

  • AA/AS from an accredited US university or college and 7 years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, lifecycle management, analysis, or planning.

Technical Expertise/Skills:

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office productivity suite, specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.

  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.

  • Education and experience are contract requirements.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: $81,820-122,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

This is a SKILLBRIDGE/Career Skills position within KBR's Embedded Metrology Laboratories whose services support Honeywell Aerospace, Otto Instruments, Garett Advance Motion, and others in a multitude of areas including Laboratory site visits, Test Equipment Calibrations and Repair, Pyrometry Services, Metrology Engineering, Equipment Inspection, CMM Inspections and more.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Calibrates and certifies Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology utilizing certified laboratory standards and manufacturer, commercial or military specifications/calibration procedures.

  • Calibrates and troubleshoots fault isolation, adjustment and repairs using Test Measure Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) certified laboratory standards.

  • Troubleshoots/repairs complex TMDE and integrated electronic systems utilizing theories of operation, block diagrams, schematics, logic trees and software diagnostics.

  • Accurately records/reports maintenance actions using applicable maintenance data collection. Resolves group and customer issues, seeks to improve the overall productivity of the department, anticipates problems and initiates appropriate actions to eliminate them.

  • Conducts uncertainty analysis, develops procedures, and ensures documentation conforms to Quality Systems requirements

    Basic Qualifications

  • Requires completion of formal training from a military, PMEL, TMDE or calibration school AS degree or applicable Technical training and certifications.

  • Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    Preferred Qualifications

  • IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus.

  • Previous customer service experience is a plus U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.

Program Summary

KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site and aboard ship to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek in support of the Army's power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets stored aboard marine vessels are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR provides limited maintenance and supply support aboard ship to ensure that equipment sets are maintained in a ready condition for emergency download and issue to operating units at the direction of the US Army. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.

Job Summary

This inspector implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations, verifies all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions; ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner, specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished, communicates deficiencies to proper persons, maintains Quality Control files, and documents results of all inspections.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Quality Control Inspector 1 (Maintenance) is responsible for quality control of the maintenance process, as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), to include all applicable PWS requirements and Army regulations. This encompasses verifying inspections, repairs and services are in accordance with Technical Manual (TM) requirements and specifications, verification of shop level maintenance supply processes are followed (correct parts ordered / parts accountability / unserviceable recoverable and serviceable excess turn-in), records (both paper and electronic system of record) are complete and correct, function and load tests have been completed and passed, and the equipment and supporting records will successfully pass inspection by the government. This inspector participates in final presentation of equipment and documentation to the Government unless directed otherwise by Shop or Quality Management. The QCI 1 will also be responsible to monitor storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials, ensure facility safety compliance and adherence to documented safety processes. Verification techniques and methods consist of but are not limited to visual inspections of equipment, facilities, storage locations and documentation, diagnostic analysis, troubleshooting, vehicle operations, component testing, and utilization of calibrated test equipment.

  • This inspector champions continuous improvement principles and practices and enforces department and program policies and procedures; will assist in providing statistical data, trend analysis data and current equipment technical data updates to ensure accurate resources are determined in preparation for assigned missions; assists team leads and foremen with coaching and training team members in proper techniques and expected results based on verification inspection trends and observations; provides guidance and recommendations to management, supervisors, leads and employees in regard to meeting quality and safety standards; communicates clearly orally and in writing and works well with all employees and customers to ensure correct information flows consistently.

  • This inspector will verify the work of Automotive Workers, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Warehouse Specialists, Material Coordinators, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, and Supply Technicians along with providing support to employees in Equipment Records and Parts Specialist (ERPS) skill sets.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must obtain and maintain local base access.

- Assist the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in developing facility standard operating procedures, guidelines, and training protocols including the safe use of strength and conditioning equipment.

- Participate in periodic meetings to review and evaluate physical training programs and identify opportunities for improvement. If a meeting occurs outside of regular working hours, the SCS is responsible for reviewing the information disseminated in meetings.

- Participate in periodic in-service training for members of the HP staff and/or POTFF staff as appropriate.

- Attend required training in accordance with guiding instructions. Commands will allow attendance at the necessary conferences or courses to complete the continuing education units required to maintain professional certifications.

- Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records of utilization, workload, conducting or participating in education programs, and participating in clinical staff quality assurance functions.

- Develop and promulgate training materials as requested and required by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator.

- Assist with supply inventories and provide input regarding supply needs for the HP program.

- Literately utilize computers, software, and technologies as required and requested by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator and required by USSOCOM HQ and its POTFF staff.

Education/Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline.

The Community Resource Coordinator, herein referred as Coordinator(s), is responsible for comprehensive and effective coordination, development, and evaluation of programs and services that contribute directly and positively to resiliency of the assigned unit's force and families. The Coordinator shall recruit active duty and family member peer support counselors, ensure participating peer support counselors are vetted and trained according to USSOCOM CRC standards.

The Coordinators shall be responsible for collecting and reporting data for the purposes of formative and outcome evaluations of peer support programs and other community-based support programs. Coordinators shall collect original data and data from secondary sources in support of program assessments. This data includes but is not limited to focus group and/or unit meetings convened by leadership; POTFF Family Resilience Program evaluation results; trend information from POTFF Psychologist, Chaplains, Ombudsmen, or Family Readiness Group (FRG) staff.

Coordinators shall support commands at multiple levels and in multiple locations. The Coordinator shall identify and document program/service needs and evaluation data. The Coordinator shall develop needs-based programming to service specific demographic groups and geographic locations. The Coordinator shall also have extensive knowledge of DoD resources, such as the Military OneSource, Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC), Personal Financial Counselors (PFC), and Military Crisis Line. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Position requires the Security Assistant to receive, and inventory classified waste for destruction from organizations on the Naval Research Laboratory.

  • Receipt, storage, and destruction of material will be performed within the appropriate secure facility.

  • The Security Assistant also receives classified computers for disposal which must be inventoried as government property and -sanitized- by removing classified hardware including hard disk drives, and circuit boards that contain memory. Assistant will disassemble computer, identifying, removing and accounting for, classified components, Unclassified computer hardware will be properly disposed of.

  • Classified materials to be destroyed include: paper and paper documents; computer hard drives and memory circuit devices.

  • Destruction methodology required by the classification level of the material must be followed.

  • The Security Assistant maintains records of classified materials received and destroyed to include: format of classified waste; classification level of material; organization received from; received date; date of destruction; destruction witnesses; date and method of disposal.

  • The security Assistant will provide monthly reports of destruction activities, including the number of hours the shredding equipment was in use, and the weight of the paper and metal waste disposed of.

  • Conforms to all required security measures applicable to the facility and the material processed. All security work performed in the area of security is performed in accordance to DSS (Defense Security Service), NSA (National Security Agency), and/or other applicable agencies which conduct regular security audits and/or investigations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and five (5) years of related experience to include:

  • Three (3) years experience in a classified environment with a working knowledge of handling classified information and the safeguarding, accounting, storage, and destruction requirements for each classification level.

Additional requirements.
