Overview
Audacy is seeking an organized, detail oriented and outgoing professional to lead our Promotions + Experiences team in promotions, contesting and prize fulfillment in the NorCal Region (San Francisco and Sacramento), including but not limited to the following formats: Sports, Alternative, Top 40, Hot AC, News/Talk, Rock, Classic Rock, and more.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Hire and supervise fulltime promotions staff in the region
Budgeting for all stations within the region
Liaison to National Promotions & Experiences Group as it relates to O&O and partnership events
Oversee and ensure all on-air promo commitments are fulfilled including correct number ran, sponsor inclusion and that branding is accurate.
Work closely with Programming and Creative Departments to ensure stations positioning/branding is reflected in all marketing, imaging, promotions & digital media
Develop & execute brand and sales promotions with Sports play-by-play & marketing partners in the region, including but not limited to: Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers, and more.
Communications Lead between Central Promotions & Experiences Group and Regional Promotion Managers
Oversee completion of digital platforms and communicating them to air talent, account executives and clients
Oversee cluster and station database promotions and marketing
Direct liaison between programming/brand managers and other departments
Oversee and evaluate concert promoter, record label and community partnerships
Assist with Station Brand Development in conjunction with specific Brand Managers and SVP/GM
Local lead for external PR initiatives
Manage Contesting Software platform alongside Regional Contesting Director
Manage artist performance agreements and contracts, working directly with legal and applicable department heads
A strategic partner with programming management and the sales department in the creation and ideation of marketing, promotion and sales opportunities for client concepts and station branding/positioning
Proficient in asset management software and sponsorship valuation tools (ex: Zudy Vinyl) and promotion management software (PromoSuite, Aptivada, etc..), and more
Attend sales meetings, client meetings, station meetings as needed
Work closely with the team and the corporate legal department to ensure all contests and promotions meet company requirements/guidelines
General Marketing and Promotions activity and special projects as needed
Qualifications

Skills/Attributes/Experience :
First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
Experience working in Urban and Sports formats preferred
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
Experience using Google Workspaces
Knowledge of promotion software, including but not limited to Vibes (mobile contesting), Aptivada (web contesting and user-generated content engine) and PromoSuite (promotion management software)
Occasional night or weekend work
Five years' experience executing marketing and promotions campaigns
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
